He or she will entertain with stories of the music industry in Nashville and what inspired them to create the lyrics to songs that may be familiar to you! After lunch, we will take in an afternoon matinee, enjoying Nashville’s newest show, The Music of Nashville, at the Texas Troubadour Theatre. This high-energy show will take the group on a chronological (and musical!) journey through the history of music. This evening, the group will reunite with our friends from Second and Unity National Banks for a special experience – The Country Christmas Dinner Show with Trace Adkins. The Grammy Award-winning Country superstar will entertain fans with Christmas standards, Celtic classics, and a few of his favorite things. Together with the multi-platinum artist and the renowned Gaylord Opryland chefs, this will be a holiday to remember! Thursday, December 5 (B): After breakfast, our group will depart the hotel for a morning tour of the Fontanel Mansion, beautifully decorated for the holidays. The mansion was built for and was once the home of country music megastar, Barbara Mandrell. Later, we will return for dinner on your own at any of the nineteen restaurants located within the Gaylord Opryland Hotel before traveling to the legendary Ryman Auditorium for the Amy Grant and Vince Gill Christmas Show. Quickly becoming a Nashville Christmas tradition, our reserved seats will provide a great view and extraordinary experience of the duo’s special holiday performance.
