» Why is there a hold on my money?

Gas stations, hotels, restaurants, and car rental agencies frequently preauthorize transactions and

hold the funds for these Merchants until they collect their monies and the transactions settle. In

the case of a fuel purchase, you can avoid a hold on your funds by paying at the register instead

of at the pump.

» I need to pay a bill. What are my options?

Pay your bills over the phone or online with your Daily Dimes™ NO MONTHLY FEE Prepaid

MasterCard®. Other useful tools for moving your money & paying your bills are PayPal®,

PopMoney®, & Tio®.

PopMoney® is a nice alternative because the transactions are processed by the actual bank where

your money is housed (Metropolitan Commercial Bank in New York). A bank has to be a

PopMoney® member to be on that network.
