What is The Ultimate Cuemath Olympiad [TUCO]?

The Ultimate Cuemath Olympiad (TUCO) is an all India Math test conducted by Cuemath. With more than 250 schools participating covering 2,50,000+ students, this competition is definitely India's biggest Online Olympiad till date; and is an annually recurring test.

Participating Grades: Grade 1 to Grade 10

Round 1: Prelims 60 Mins Online Test Mobile & Web-enabled Conducted between- 28th & 29th Nov, 2020 Round 2: Advanced 60 Mins Online Test Mobile & Web-enabled 9th & 10th Jan, 2021

While Round 1 is an online test which can be taken at home, Round 2 will be proctored but the mode of conducting Round 2 will becommunicated to you separately once we have more information on the current Pandemic situation.

REGISTRATION:

1. What is the eligibility criteria for TUCO?1st to 10th Grade students (studying in schools affiliated with any State,Central or International board) are eligible for the test.Note: There would be different test papers for each class. Students enrolled for the 28th Nov exam and 29th Nov exam will solve different exams.

2. Are non- Cuemath students eligible for TUCO?Yes, meeting the mentioned eligibility criteria is the only requirement.

3. How to register for TUCO?Registration for TUCO 2020 can be done from our official website only and we currently accept only online applications. Further registration details can be found from this link:

4. How much is the registration fee for TUCO?There is a standard registration fee of INR 200 + GST per student

5. When does the registration for TUCO start?The registration for TUCO 20 will start from 18th August 2020. You can register by clicking here.

How does a student benefit from taking the TUCO exam?What’s in store for students?TUCO participants will get access to Math Olympiad preparation resources like mock tests, concept explainers and practice questions. They are also eligible to win Cash prizes and scholarships from a total pool of INR 50 lacs +:INR 20 Lakhs + worth cash prizes.INR 30 Lakhs + worth felicitations, scholarships etc.

11.What are the selection criteria of the rank holders?The performance of the student in both Round 1 and Round 2 is equallyimportant as the criteria for the Rank holders after Round 2 will be based on the performance of the students in both of these rounds.The performance in Round 1 will also act as the deciding factor in tie breaking situations.

12. How to prepare for TUCO?Here are some tricks and tips to prepare for TUCO:Know your syllabus: To know your syllabus for the exam is very important so that you know what to expect in the exam.

Get material to prepare: Download the app to access the entire program that covers the whole syllabus and gives a fair idea of all types of concepts and questions. 17. When is the last date to apply for TUCO?The last date to apply for TUCO 2020 is 26th November 2020.

18. When will the TUCO results be declared?Round 1/ Prelim results will be announced in 3 weeks from the date of the exam.

19. Are there any mock tests to prepare for TUCO?Yes, there are Mock Tests and Sample Questions which will give you a feel of what will be asked in the actual Olympiad Exam. Once you have successfully registered for The Ultimate Cuemath Olympiad(TUCO), the link to attempt the mock test and a PDF containing the sample paper will be sent to yourregistered email ID.

21. How much is the fee for the preparation course of TUCO?Math Olympiad Preparatory Course is offered free of cost on registration for the TUCO Exam.

TEST SET-UP:

26. Can students take the TUCO exam from home?If you have successfully registered for TUCO 2020, you would be able to take the test on the app. The test will be open / accessible by students for astipulated time window.

27. Is there any online exam center for the TUCO exam?No, currently we don’t have any online exam centers for the TUCO exam.

28. Can students take the TUCO exam from mobile?Yes, Round 1 is Mobile & Web enabled. Students can use any of these devices to attempt the examination, while having a fairly strong and reliable wifinetwork.

29. Where should I attempt TUCO -Desktop/Laptop/Mobile? Round 1/ Prelims are Web as well as Mobile enabled. Students can use a laptop or desktop as well with a fairly strong and reliable wifi network. Please note that Round 2 will be a web enabled test only.

30. Will I need a login ID and password to attempt the TUCO exam?No. Every student who has registered successfully in the app,would be able to take the test on the dates of the exam within the stipulated time on the app itself.

31. What if my test abruptly ends?Don’t worry. If you lose network/internet connectivity during the course of the test, you will still be able to solve and mark responses to the questions. Once you have completed all the questions or reached the stipulated end time of the test, you will need to be connected to the internet to submit yourresponses.
