NORTH S YDNE Y CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL 2017 To celebrate Children’s Week, North Sydney Council is holding a week-long extravaganza of creative workshops across the North Sydney Local Government Area, culminating with the Children’s Festival on Saturday 28 October.

Kicking off on 21 October, all workshops explore the theme of Art Meets Science and are a new addition to Children’s Week.

Suitable for children aged between three and 12 years, the workshops include shadow puppetry, papermaking, pinhole cameras, origami and body percussion.

The workshops wrap up on Saturday 28 October with a celebration of childhood and fun for all the family at the Children’s Festival in Civic Park between 10am and 2pm.

Throughout the festivities, primary school children’s art will be on display in A Window to the Future exhibition at the inTransit Art Space in Council Chambers.
