    NOTE: To receive calls from a correctionalfacility, you must use a touch-tone telephone.

    1. When you answer a call from a correctionalfacility, you will hear a computerized voice.Wait for the voice to finish speaking, andthen follow the instructions to accept, declineor block the call.

    2. If you do nothing or select the option todecline the call, the phone will hang upwithout a charge to your telephone number.NOTE: The facility reserves the right to limitthe number of times a called number may bedeclined or accepted within a given timeperiod.

    3. If you choose to accept the call, beginspeaking after selecting this option.NOTE: To protect you and provide equitabletelephone access for all inmates, thecorrectional facility may place a time limit oncalls. Many facilities provide a warning tone30 seconds before a call is terminated.

    4. The call will either appear on your localtelephone company bill or an invoice directlyfrom Correctional Billing Service. If using a

    prepaid account you will not receive aninvoice, the charge will be deducted directlyfrom the money you prepaid.NOTE: If you do not pay this bill within 30days, your telephone number may be blockedfrom receiving calls from any facility servedby Correctional Billing Service.

    5. If you do not wish to receive calls from acorrectional facility, contact CorrectionalBilling Services Customer Service at1-800-844-6591 or

    To protect witnesses and legal personnel, somecalling deterrents could be present on our phonesystem. To talk on the phone with someoneconfined in a correctional facility, you must use atouch-tone telephone. If you do any of these

    things during the call, you could bedisconnected, so....

    DONT:

    transfer the call put the call on Hold use or answer Call Waiting use a cell phone & / or cordless phone

    (static could cause a disconnect) press extra (additional) numbers on the

    touch-tone keypad stop your conversation for any length of time

    (a period of silence may cause a disconnect) try to make any kind of 3-way call

    You can avoid interruption of your service andcontrol costs at the same time with our Prepaidaccounts. By paying for your calls in advanceyou can manage you spending and ensure thatthe line is open so long as funds are kept in the

    account. To establish and maintain a prepaidaccount, you can use our automated system orspeak to a Customer Service Representativeusing a credit card or check. Western UnionQuick Collect and payments by mail are alsoavailable. If payments made by mail, we alsoaccept money orders, cashiers checks and otherforms of guaranteed payments.

    We also offer you the opportunity to obtainaccount information 24 hours a day, 7 days aweek through our AUTOMATED SYSTEM.

    To Avoid Being Disconnected

    About Us Prepaid Accounts

    1. Each account is assigned a paymentverification point (PVP). This is your spendinglimit for a rolling 90 day period. If you exceedyour PVP within the 90 days the line will beblocked from receiving calls until the earlier

    calls have dropped off. You will receive anautomated COURTESY CALL when you near75% of the PVP. Note: If you would prefer notto have a PVP or the 90 day timeframe, werecommend using our Prepaid account.

    2. For your protection we have placed a $50.00limit on the total cost of calls that may beaccepted within a 24 hour time period. Thisis called a HIGH VELOCITY restriction. Youmay be able to have this restriction lifted bycalling CBS and doing one of the following:

    A. You can pay the unbilled charges thathave not already been sent to you localphone company via Credit card (Ifavailable).

    B. If you are directly billed by CBS, you canmake a payment by speaking to aCustomer Service Representative orsending your payment through WesternUnion.

    Correctional Billing Services (CBS), a division ofEvercom Systems Inc. and T-Netix Inc., is theonly nationwide provider to offer Customer Careand Account Activation Centers solely dedicatedto the friends and family members of inmates.

    CBS represents over 3,100 correctional facilitiesnationwide. We provide customer serviceinformation through e-mail, website, Friends &Family Assistance Centers (Kiosk) in selectfacility lobbies and by toll-free number.

    To assure families are able to stay in contact, ourbilling support department provide multipleaccount servicing programs to fit anyrequirement.
