    KIDS TURN DIVORCE AND SEPARATION WORKSHOPhe mission of Kids Turn San Diego is to promote, support and secure the well-being of all children who are experiencing the challenges of family sation. Military and Veteran families face many challenges, and consequently, higher incidences of divorce, separation and family turmoil. High strong periods away from home and continually changing family roles all add to the potential of a failed marriage. Kids Turn is the only organization

    Southern California working exclusively with military and veteran families to ensure that all parents learn to accomplish a child-centered, healthy dorce/separation. Children will be taught how to express their thoughts and feelings and develop good coping skills while they learn that the divorot their fault. The entire family is encouraged to participate. Parents and children attend their own groups, facilitated by group leaders experien

The program is neeew volunteers for the second half of the school year. The program will run every Friday from 0750 until 0910. The requirements/events are as fowed: Uniform of the day is utility uniform, PT with the fifth graders at 0800, play games with them, Games consist of playing duck duck goose, kicall, relay races, and many more. There is also the Mentorship portion where the Marines and kids from K-5 get time to know each other and make fference on the kids life.
