Military and Veteran families face many challenges, and consequently, higher incidences of divorce, separation and family turmoil. High strong periods away from home and continually changing family roles all add to the potential of a failed marriage. Kids Turn is the only organization

Southern California working exclusively with military and veteran families to ensure that all parents learn to accomplish a child-centered, healthy dorce/separation. Children will be taught how to express their thoughts and feelings and develop good coping skills while they learn that the divorot their fault. The entire family is encouraged to participate. The requirements/events are as fowed: Uniform of the day is utility uniform, PT with the fifth graders at 0800, play games with them, Games consist of playing duck duck goose, kicall, relay races, and many more. There is also the Mentorship portion where the Marines and kids from K-5 get time to know each other and make fference on the kids life.
