fare la vostra parte! Provate a fare tutti i movimenti illustrati, proprio
come i bambini della storia, e urlate “I can do it!”.
See you soon!

March 17th
St. patrick’S day ENGLISH: Today’s St. Patrick’s Day!!! It is celebrated in Ireland, a
country in the United Kingdom, Queen Elizabeth’s reign. We must
celebrate it too! On this day you have to wear GREEN. This colour is the
symbol of Springtime and it symbolizes hope for the future. Another
symbol is the Leprechaun, a magical creature that looks like a little old
man and dresses like a shoemaker. Leprechauns are really hard to
catch, but if you do catch one it will give you his pot of gold!
Do you know the shamrock is the national symbol of Ireland? It’s
different from a clover, because it only has three leaves.
Now we can play together!
Adesso possiamo giocare insieme!

EASTER EGG HUNT
Hello!!! Easter is coming and I want to show you how to make some
beautiful and colourful eggs for your hunt.
An egg hunt is a game during which decorated eggs are hidden for
children to find. Even if this game is often played outdoors, you can also
find many spots inside your flat!
pag.22
TIPS: for better results use white eggs. If you don’t find them at the
supermarket consider using some white paint, but remember not to eat
them!!!
Ciao!!!
fatto all’esterno, potete trovare tanti nascondigli anche all’interno del
vostro appartamento!
pag.23
Se non avete a disposizione i colori
alimentari, potete crearli in modo
naturale!
1) Mettere in una pentola di media
grandezza ¼ di acqua e 2 cucchiai di
aceto.
2) Portare a bollare, aggiungere
l’ingrediente per colorare e abbassare il
fuoco. Cuocere a fuoco lento per 30 min.
Lasciare raffreddare.
3) Filtrare la tintura ottenuta prima di
aggiungere le uova. Lasciare immerse le
uova per 30 minuti o finché non hanno
raggiunto la tonalità desiderata.
Asciugare le uova con la carta
assorbente.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt
Hello everyone!
Are you ready for an amazing adventure? We’re going on a bear hunt
today! Watch the video and create your sensory tray. Save it and play
with it, while singing “We’re going on a bear hunt we’re going to catch
pag.27
a big one…we can’t go over it, we can’t go under it, we’ve got to go
through it!”. It will be fun!!!
I used what I already had on hand and I'm sure you can find all
this stuff too! You just need:
• grass (real one is way better than the fake one, but you can
also use raffia, for example);
• a plastic freeze bag. Fill it with water (and blue food coloring
if you want);
• mud (to create real mud use dirt and water. Shaving cream
and brown paint for fake);
• small pine twigs, bark, moss;
pag.28
• cotton wool.
Draw a big brown bear or use a figurine and look for
something that looks like a cave! Can't you find it? Don't worry!
Take a dark cardboard (brown, gray or black) and fold it into
an arch shape.
Your "We're going on a bear hunt" sensory tray is done! Have
fun and send me pictures!!!
Bye Bye!

SPOT GOES TO THE BEACH
For our last activity I chose a story about holidays to tell you goodbye!
I hope you’ll enjoy the video!
How to do your sensory beach:
• Prepare a homemade jelly with 200 ml of water, 100 g of sugar, 10 g
of maize flour and a half lemon juice
• Pour everything into a pot and stir for about 10 minutes bringing to
boil
• Add blue food colouring at the end of cooking
• Put the mixture into a tray or what you have
• Let the jelly rest in the fridge for an hour
• Sprinkle polenta (if you don’t have it don’t worry! You can use
whatever is yellow and looks like sand! Cane sugar, for example) to
replicate the sand
• Use sugar or coconut to create the foam of the waves

Love you all,
