Greetings!!
Happy Spring Everyone. It’s great to wake up to the sounds of the Robins. It seems to me that it has been a long winter and this spring is a very welcome change.
I wanted to express my thanks to everyone that made the Aerie Anniversary Pro-gram a success. It was an evening of unique entertain-ment and I heard many com-pliments of the evening. Hap-py 55th Anniversary.
I also wanted to thank every-one that attended the wine tasting. It was a fun and re-laxing evening, and even bet-ter, we raised funds for the Backpack program.
There will be Horseracing with Bob on Saturday April 6th. It starts at 7:30. That same evening there will be food provided by the Men’s Delegates.
On Saturday May 4th there will be an Aerie/Auxiliary Joint event. We will have a BBQ cookoff and Bluegrass music. The 145th running of the Ken-tucky Derby will be that even-ing followed immediately with Horseracing with Bob. Pro-ceeds will benefit Multiple Sclerosis. Be on the look-out for more information on times and how to participate in the cookoff.
It’s time for me to go buy some seeds to plant in my
garden. If we can find a little bit of space at the Aerie, may-be we could sneak in a few seeds and seedlings to give to the kitchen for some fresh veggies this summer. There is nothing better than home-grown tomatoes.
So it’s off to Home Depot I Go.
Cheers!!

Brothers and Sisters,
Greetings,
Once again, I feel the need to say THANKS!!!!
The Aeries 55th Anniversary was very successful and eve-ryone had a lot of fun. Great Fraternalism also. Many thanks to Debbie Hall and the rest of the auxiliary ladies for all their hard work!! I knew we could have full confidence in our Auxiliary!!!
Our Junior Order of Eagles(JOE) needs a BOOST. Any Brothers or Sisters that can assist with the JOE are en-couraged to contact me at the following e-mail address or reach out to Sisters Lennie Hooten, Cathy Pooley, Mary Burch or Brother Don Burch to exchange information and get the momentum rolling.
THE JUNIOR ORDER DE-SERVES YOUR BEST EF-FORTS!!!:
We are attempting to create an E-MAIL BLAST or TEXT BLAST or BOTH. We can send up to 1000 e-mail blast or text blast each month for FREE.
The purpose of this system is to get information out to as many Brothers and Sisters as possible in the QUICKEST manner.
To Start – we will need YOUR e-mail and/or text ad-dress AND your carrier (i.e. Verizon, sprint, etc.). We will compile a listing of all Broth-ers and Sisters data and if a Brother or Sister falls ill or worse, we would send an e-mail blast to everyone on the
list at the same time. We would also communicate weather closings of the Aerie if needed.(data will not be shared with outside sites)
Please forward your e-mail address or text address to the following:
Again, Thanks for Your sup-port and remember –
“if you are not part of the so-lution, you may be part of the problem!!!!”
Until next time,
Bill Singleton Aerie 3204 Worthy President
