Ladies Luncheon Come and join us the second Monday of each

month for our ladies luncheon. We get together

and go to different restaurants each month and

have lots of fun. There is a sign up sheet on the

bulletin board across from the library. If you

have any questions, call Gale Violon at 863-206-

1992.

The Sunshine Lady Linda Kidd is asking if someone in your

household or a neighbor goes into the hospital,

to rehab, or passes away, please call me at 863-

667-2929 or email me at [email protected].

Everyone appreciates receiving a card from us.

Thank you. Linda Kidd

To All Organizations

I know this is only June, however, I

am thinking about Christmas

already. This year I would like any

Hamptons organization to adopt a Christmas Tree

and decorate it. The trees would be furnished by

Sun Communities and they need to be decorated

with a theme—such as the Quilters could have

patchwork decorations or the Choraliers could

have musical notes and the card players have the

tree adorned with playing cards. Got the idea??

The decorations do not have to be expensive ones

you buy, but use your imagination and get crafty.

I am thinking of doing it the Sunday before

Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving week-end. We

could have cookies or desserts and have a fun

couple of hours together making our ballroom

and lobby look beautiful. If you would be

interested, please stop by the office and let me

know your thoughts by August so I can start

planning the space for the additional trees.

Thanks, Emily

Mexican Train Game Beginning in June, please bring a dollar with you

when you come to play on Thursday afternoons.

The money that is collected will be passed out as

prizes at the end of the game.

NOTICE!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT FEED

THE WILDLIFE

REMINDER Please remember that if you are selling your

house on your own you MUST have your buyer

come into the office and pick up an application.

Without the approval of Sun Communities the

new owner cannot close or move into the home!

Thank You

I would like to thank all those that were a

tremendous support for me during the saddest

time of my life. Especially those that questioned

her well being for the past year or so.

The Facebook posts and the nearly

125 cards that I have received shows

the love that existed for Charlotte.

There are a few Angels in this park

and you know who you are.

Thanks from me and my family.

CERT

COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS The Hamptons CERT team will be holding a training exercise on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. The purpose of the

exercise is to develop timing and locate bottlenecks and problems in the event it’s necessary for the Health

Department to dispense medications to our residents. To assist us in this endeavor we are looking for 50 to 75

volunteers to stop in the clubhouse ballroom around 1:00 PM or shortly thereafter on June 20th to go though a

check-in process and fill out paperwork that would be necessary to receive medications. We are interested in

how long it takes to actually fill out the paperwork and to monitor traffic flow. We will NOT keep the

paperwork from this exercise. The information gathered will help us develop a plan which will allow all

Hampton residents to be given medication in an efficient manner and with the least inconvenience as possible

We anticipate your involvement with this exercise will only take 15 to 20 minutes.

For those that don’t know, the Hampton CERT team is one of only five CERT teams in Polk County that is

designated as a Point of Dispensing (POD) area. That means should the Health Department determine it

becomes necessary to dispense medication to all residents of Polk County, our residents can remain in the

Hamptons to receive the medications. No outsider can come into the Hamptons to get medication. The POD

is for Hampton’s residents ONLY. A Registered Nurse will come in at no cost to the Hamptons to dispense

medications.

If you would like to volunteer to help us with this exercise, contact Jim Bontrager at [email protected] or

Jim Schmalbach at [email protected].

Thank you for your consideration. The Hampton CERT Team
