• 1906 – the battle creek toasted corn flake company was opened

• 1922 – Kellogg’s arrives in the UK and sales in supermarkets all over the country

• 1950 Kellogg’s launches Special K and Kellogg’s Frosties

Well talking about Frosties, it a cereal that young children to people in their mid teens enjoy for breakfast. What makes this product such a success is Kellogg’s frosties Mascot Tony the tiger

What promotes their product the most is their recognisable cartoon mascot Tony the Tiger. Tony the tiger was chosen out three other mascots to be the mascot of Frosties.And 60 years on tony the tiger is still going strong

CompetitorsSCRIPT: Competitors are always trying to beat others who do the similar products in the same category. Nestle is one of them. One of the products Nestlé sell are cereals. I did a swot analysis of the company. One of their strengths is having a green banner on top of their cereal that clearly it has wholegrain.

Weetabix is another company competing against Kellogg. Other companies like supermarket brands are also competitors because their products are cheaper than the bigger brands and again their products are seen as a healthier choice of cereal.
