    Drivers Education - Class begins at 0830 to 1530 each day in building 1019,classroom D. Cost is $305.00 for AGES 15-17. Cost includes DMV handbook, parenttraining guide and student workbook. 30 hours of classroom (Fort Irwin) education and 6

    hours of behind the wheel training after the classroom education. Behind the wheel willbe held in Barstow.

    Introducing a new dance class for toddlers ages 2-5, Tots Tutus & Twirls. Otherdance classes include pre-ballet, beginning ballet, intermediate ballet, modern, jazz andmore!

    Karate spaces have become available: Shihan Sharnae Weist instructs classes onMonday and Wednesdays. Martial Arts teaches kicking combinations, self-defense,Gracie Jiu-jitsu, Sparring, Wood Breaking and Weapons (Escrima Sticks, Nunchucks,and Bo Staff).

Named for Giovannida Capistrano, a 15th century theologian and "warrior priest" who resided in the Abruzzoregion of Italy, San Juan Capistrano has the distinction of being home to the oldestbuilding in California still in use, a chapel built in 1782; known alternately as "Serra'sChapel" and "Father Serra's Church," it is the only extant structure where it has beendocumented that the padre Junipero Serra celebrated mass.     LIBRARY

    The computer lab in the Fort Irwin Post Library will be closed due to upgrades onWednesday, October 12, 2011 and Thursday, October 13, 2011. We apologize for anyinconvenience this may cause. For questions or concerns, please call 380-3462.

    FITNESS CENTERS AND POOL

    The rink at the Coyote Activity Center will be closed from 17 October through 14

    November due to the construction and tear down of the haunted house. The remainder ofthe facility such as the cardio room, fitness classes and the concessions will remain open!For more information, please call 380-6120.

    Effective 24 October, Freedom & Memorial Fitness Centers as well as the OasisPool will have new hours.
