Fujinon High Definition Telephoto lensXA72x9.3BESM
The XA72x High Definition telezoom lens combines high
magnification (72x) with 32 bit RISC processor control
of all major lens functions. The XA72x is equipped with
advanced back focus mechanism, Inner focus and Digi
Power functions which offer excellent performance
and ease of operation. The XA72x is the perfect choice
for all broadcast applications.
A high-speed, 13 bit serial communications link
between the zoom/focus demands and the lens
provides smooth, precise overall control functions.
The lens employs optical encoders, which increase
reliability and offer excellent positioning accuracy
when the lens is used in robotics and virtual studio
applications. Both zoom and focus are controlled by
a 32 bit RISC processor.
The zoom/focus mode provides three distinctive
rotational curves for zoom and focus. This function is
extremely useful when switching between productions
(such as drama and sport).
Although the XA72x performs all of its functions by
digital control, its zoom and focus demand is inter-
changeable with existing analog-controlled lenses.
The 2x extender doubles the 9.3 to 675 mm range of
the XA72x to 18.6 to 1,250 mm. When using the F number
limit switch, a circuit can be introduced to limit the zoom
range of the lens to the point at which F-stop ramping
begins. In addition the High Definition XA72x includes
Fujinon’s exclusive Quick Zoom function and the unique
Fujinon Find System.
