While-listening: (25 minutes)

Task 1: Asks students to listen to four conversations and match them with pictures.

- Asks students to look at the pictures and answer questions:

+ How many people in picture a, b, c, d?

- Listen and answer

- Work in pairs.

-Give and check answers.

- Each pair works in role. Example:

A: What subjects are you taking this semester?

B: I’m taking Maths.

- Look at the pictures and answer teacher

-Asks students to listen to four situations for three times and match each situation with each picture.

- Sticks picture a, b, c, d on board, asks 4 students to go to the board and give answers.

Task 2: Asks students to listen again and answer the questions:

1. What subject is Lan taking this semester?

- Lets students read the questions first and listen again 2 times and asks them to discuss in groups to answer the questions.
