The Boatbuilders Yard offers a delicious array of
food options ranging from substantial canapes to
a BBQ or breakfast buffet. Carefully crafted drink
packages are flexible in their design and include one
of Victoria’s largest number of tap beer varieties.
Drinks are available either as a convenient beverage
package or on consumption through a bar tab. The
Boatbuilders Yard’s catering offerings are delivered

The Boatbuilders Yard is one of Melbourne’s premier
waterfront venues boasting the charm and cultural
heritage of Melbourne’s famous Maritime precinct
with a modern twist as its centrepiece - the original
historic shed. Conveniently located on the edge of
Melbourne’s CBD, the venue is on the doorstep of
the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and
only a short stroll to DFO shops and Southern Cross

The Boatbuilders Yard offers a variety of versatile indoor and outdoor spaces, perfectly catering to Melbourne’s ever
changing weather. Featuring one of the city’s largest outdoor beer gardens, there are several private riverfront piers
with deckchairs, five operational bars, a live music license, a split level balcony style boardwalk decking and a bocce

The Decks offers an exclusive weatherproof indoor/outdoor facility located on the banks of the Yarra River.
A combination of sliding and fixed glass walls and windows, ceiling heaters, a private bar and interchangeable
furniture caters for all occasions. Feature plants and foliage drape from the ceiling, with astroturf lining the top
floor to create a wonderful atmosphere taking the stress out of theming.

Dukes is a semi-private space located in the heart of our fabulous outdoor beer garden. The CBD building tops rise
above the area displaying a unique Melbourne backdrop. Festoon lights zig-zag overhead highlighting the open sky
with lush vines wrapping around the open-plan gazebo. A large bar and bocce pit are located alongside the space
to create the perfect atmosphere for relaxed networking.

The Waterfront space is a celebration of industrial and maritime design. It is a semi-private space with a
combination of covered and open areas, retractable awnings, ceiling heaters and house background music.
Located directly on the banks of the Yarra River with a fabulous panoramic CBD and Southbank outlook, the
