The Little Haven Hotel is the vision of Heather & Adrian Hollingsworth, it was built in 97/98 and opened its doors in December 1998. It is a family run Business and it takes pride in the Facilities, Location and Team.

S o u t h S h i e l d s S u i t e Situated off our small reception area on the ground floor, this suite is the smallest of the three. It would be ideal choice for that intimate function, seating up to approximately 40 guests.

R i v e r s i d e S u i t e Again situated off our reception area on the ground floor. This suite offers magnificent views over the River Tyne, through its Patio doors. Seating up to approximately 60 guests.

H a r b o u r S u i t e Situated on the first floor (easy Access by lift or stairs). Accommodating between 100 - 150 Guests depending on your choice of layout. The suite has it ’s own charm is and airy with excellent views from every window. It also has its own bar.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING In these terms and conditions “terms”which apply to

all bookings, the expression “the hotel” means the Little Haven Hotel specified in the clients’ confirmation and “the client” means the person booking the hotel.

Once you have discussed a possible date we will hold a provisional booking, without any obligation, for 14 days. Failure to pay your deposit after the 14 days confirms you do not wish to go ahead with the booking and the hotel reserves the right to release the date without prior notification.

Deposits- To confirm the booking we require a deposit of £100. This is non-refundable.

All prices are inclusive of V.A.T. at the prevailing rate.

Prices shown are based on minimum numbers of 40 adults. If less than this a Room hire charge will be made.

A minimum of 85% of the guests must be catered for, based on at least buffet ‘A’

All prices quoted are correct at the time of going to press; however the Little Haven Hotel reserves the right to change them without notice. This package is applicable until 31st December 2017.

The choice of menu should be confirmed at least two weeks prior to the function. Final numbers and payment is due no later than ten days before the function.

Once you have a date booked please remember to check availability of the hotel bedrooms. You may take a number of our brochures, please advise your guests to book as soon as possible. No block bookings of bedrooms can be made. All rooms are required to be guaranteed with current credit/debit card information. All rooms are payable on departure.

Consumption of food and drink, other than supplied by the hotel is not allowed. We do not allow corkage.

Under no circumstances can you or any of your invitees be permitted to bring alcoholic beverages of any kind to be consumed on the premises. If any guests are suspected and found breaching this will be asked to leave the premises.

Any client wishing to bring into the hotel electrical equipment must seek prior permission.

If you require a disco, our resident D.J. will be happy to play any requests and keep your guests entertained playing from 7:30pm till 12:00am (cost £199.50).

All disco’s, bands & musicians must have a current Portable Appliance Test certificate. If you wish to book your own entertainment there will be a charge of £71.70

All Contractors brought onto the premises by the hirer must be covered by their own Public Liability Insurance.

The hotel reserves the right to cancel any bookings forthwith without liability on its part and any booking that could be deemed to bring the Hotel into disrepute or through situations outside the Hotels control.

The hotel cannot be held responsible for any works carried out by contractors or otherwise outside of the hotel grounds.

The terms and conditions are not subject to amendment by the client. No oral representations will be recognised by the hotel.

If any items are to be delivered to the Hotel prior to the function, arrangements must be made with the Hotel beforehand. The Hotel will make its best endeavours for the safe keeping of such items which will remain at the Clients own risk and the Hotel will not be held responsible in the event of loss, theft or damage. All items are to be collected from the hotel within 48 hours after the function.

The client is responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings and equipment in them by any act, default or neglect of the client, its guests or sub-contractors and shall pay to the hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.

Cancellation Policy – cancellations of the function will result in the charges shown becoming due. In each case the percentage charge is based on the advance notice of cancellation given and applies to the estimated total cost of the function. From 40 weeks to 26 weeks - 25% , From 25 weeks to 6 weeks 50% and less than 6 weeks 100%.
