Time Table Module Configuration

Note:-To Use Time Table Module Initial Configuration of Time Table Related Items is to be Done

as Follows

To use the Time Table Module, user needs to do initial configuration related to Time Table

External Lecture Assignments

Maximum Lectures Per Standard

Weekly Max. Lectures Per Class Sub Configuration

• Define maximum lectures of subject for each class for a week.

• Standard wise division and subjects should be configured to define maximum lectures of subject for each

class for a week

• Once timetable is saved for a class and teacher, user cannot reduce lecture count if timetable already assigned

more number of lectures, but user can increase lecture count.

Maximum Lectures Per Standard

• Define maximum lectures for each standard for a day.

• Here, user can also define maximum lectures that a teacher can teach for a week.

• Standards and Weekdays should be configured to define maximum lectures for standards and teachers.

• Once timetable is saved for a class and teacher, user cannot reduce lecture count if timetable already assigned

more number of lectures, but user can increase lecture count.

• On weekly timetable for a class, number of lecturers are displayed as per defined maximum lectures for each

standard for a day.

• On weekly timetable for a teacher, number of lecturers are displayed as per defined maximum lectures for a

day according to assigned standards.

External Lecture Assignments Configuration

• Here, external lectures like assembly, M.P.T. and stay back can be assigned to teachers and classes. If „Is

Assembly?‟ check box is checked for any teacher then first lecture of Monday is displayed as „Assembly‟ for

that teacher and if the teacher is class teacher then first lecture of Monday is displayed as „Assembly‟ for that

class.

• If „Is M.P.T.?‟ check box is checked for any teacher then first lecture of Wednesday is displayed as „M.P.T.‟

that teacher and if the teacher is class teacher then first lecture of Wednesday is displayed as „M.P.T.‟ for that

class.

• If „Is Stay Back?‟ check box is checked for any teacher then stay back lectures are displayed according to

configuration of stay back lectures.

External Lecture Assignments Configuration

Step 1- User can define assignment of Assembly lectures for classes from „External Lecture

Assignments‟.

Step 2- To assign Assembly lecture, a link „Assign Assembly Lectures‟ is available where user can

select applicable lecture for selected day and class.

Step 2- To assign M.P.T. lecture, a link „Assign M.P.T. Lectures‟ is available where user can select

applicable lecture for selected day and class.

Step 1- User can define assignment of M.P.T. lectures for classes from „External Lecture

Assignments‟.

Step 1- user can define assignment of stay back lectures for classes from „External Lecture

Assignments‟.

Step 2- To assign stay back lecture, a link „Assign Stay Back Lectures‟ is available where user can

select applicable lecture for selected day and class.

• Once External lectures are assigned for class, it is displayed in class timetable.

• External lecture assignments overrides the existing lecture assignment.

Using Time Table Module

Once configuration related to Time Table is done ,user can use the Time Table Module for Below Function.

Once configuration related to timetable is done, user can create timetable for teacher and class.

For teacher timetable, select teacher and view the weekly timetable along with the class-subject

lecture count and additional lectures .

For teacher timetable, select teacher and view the weekly timetable along with the class-subject

lecture count and additional lectures .

Step 1- To add additional lecture, click on Additional Lectures button.

Step 3- Select Lecture Number

Step 4- Select Class-Subject

Step 5- Select submit

• Saved additional lecture is displayed under „Additional Lectures‟.

• Once additional lecture is saved, base lecture cannot be removed.

• User can reset timetable of teacher, it removes all assigned class-subjects including the additional

lectures.

• The external lecture does not removed on reset.

• For class timetable, select class and view the weekly timetable along with the additional/optional subject lectures if

assigned.

• Number of Lectures is displayed according to max. lectures per standard for each weekday.

• In the timetable subject teachers are available for assignment to the selected class. Lectures which are not applicable

for day, are disabled and labeled as „Lecture Not Applicable‟.

Weekly Time Table - Class

Lecture for optional subjects can be assigned for a optional subject from a group which is already assigned in class

timetable. Like if the Hindi and Marathi is optional subjects for class 1A then if Monday 5th lecture is assigned as

Hindi user can assign Marathi for the same lecture Monday 5th lecture .

•While assigning multiple teachers to one class subject, a option “Is exclusive” can be set to both or one of the subject teacher.

•If either a teachers is exclusive for a class subject then

a. If non exclusive teacher is assigned for a class-subject then exclusive teacher, can not be assigned in timetable on same lecture..

b. If exclusive teacher is assigned for a class-subject then non exclusive teacher, can be assigned to the other class subject for same lecture.

•If none of the teacher is exclusive and either a teacher is assigned for a class-subject in the timetable then other teacher can be assigned in timetable on

same lecture.

•User can reset timetable of class, it removes all assigned subject teachers including the optional lectures, external lecture does not removed on reset.

On „School Timetable‟ screen, timetable of entire school is can be viewed for Teacher Or Class.

Teachers Time Table- Name of the teachers and their respective Timetable is listed in Row

Classes Time Table- Name of all Classes are listed with their respective Timetable

Teacher Login-Weekly Timetable

On Weekly Timetable screen, teacher can edit his/her timetable only.

Note 1 -Class teacher, edit timetable of his/her class

Note 2-Any user having full access of „Weekly Timetable‟ screen, can edit the timetable of any teacher and any

class.

Student Login

For student login, „Timetable‟ screen is available to view timetable of his/her class.
