Chris is the Treasurer of a Sunday League football club. He needs to have enough income to cover expenses. There are 30 members of the club.

Grace wants to improve her garden. She is going to put a layer of compost on a flower bed before sowing some seeds.
The flower bed is rectangular, length 2.8 metres and width 0.7 metres. The depth of compost will be 0.1 metres.

Task 3 (16 marks)
Sam is planning a lucky wheel game for a charity fair. Each player spins the wheel once. When the wheel stops, if the pointer is on a blue sector the player will win a star prize.
If the pointer is on an orange sector the player will win a mystery prize.
Sam thinks the chance of a player winning the star prize against the chance of winning the
mystery prize is 2 to 1.
