combines the warmth & hospitality for which the South is well known with a large spirits-driven bar & restaurant space filling the 500sqm venue

With more than 500 American whiskies on offer, a New Orleans-inspired menu just as enticing as the water views of Jones Bay Wharf and a striking fit-out by designers Luchetti Krelle, NOLA Smokehouse and Bar is one of the newest

additions to the hospitality precinct of The Streets of Barangaroo.

FOOD & DRINKS

The rich culinary history of New Orleans makes for a melting pot of cuisines including French, Spanish, Mexican, South American and North Africa. Rather than just focus on Cajun and Creole, Executive Chef Richard Duff has created a menu that features dishes, spices and flavours from all of these countries with the selection of house-

smoked meats a highlight.

Although true-to-form of New Orleans style dishes, the menu is also reflective of Duff’s experience which extends from the one Michelin-starred L’Oranger and London’s Bibendum through to Attica and Mrs. Jones in Melbourne, and The

Lincoln and Grasshopper in Sydney.

The food is complemented by a list of more than 250 wines, curated by Sommelier Jarrod Mills who has a notable portfolio of restaurants on his resume including Bambini Trust Restaurant and Wine Room, est., Berowra Waters Inn, Guillaume at Bennelong and Rockpool. The wine selection favours influences from countries with historical associations to Louisiana including France, Spain and South

America, as well as Australia and New Zealand offerings.

VENUE

With seating for up to 100 in the Smokehouse, a Private Dining Room for up to 15 guests and a bar with a capacity of 180, there are several options for group and exclusive

bookings.

Vivid colours make their mark in a space reminiscent of a wrap-around verandah; the striking azure timber floor complementing the crisp white timber, copper-clad kitchen

pass and verdant hanging baskets.

Beyond the colourful architecture lies the bar framed in iron lacework, a signature architectural element from the streets of New Orleans. The copper bar-top, reclaimed oak facings and custom brass drinks ledges bearing the NOLA logo create a detailed warmth in this new-found

drinking destination.

FUNCTIONS & EVENTS

BarOur collection of American whiskies is arguably one of the best in Sydney so we’ve dedicated more than half of the venue space to our bar. We welcome group bookings of 10 people or more on selected weekdays however reserve

most of our space for walk-ins.

Looking for the perfect space to host a larger function? Our Bar with water views is also available for exclusive events.

The French QuarterAn extension of the bar, The French Quarter is a semi-private

space offering table service.

Bookings accepted for up to 20 people on selected weekdays. A 10% table-service charge applies in the

French Quarter.

Exclusive bookings can accommodate up to 40 guests seated plus 20 guests standing at an hourly minimum spend plus 10% gratuity with pre-selected drinks or beverage

packages, canapés, dining and bar food available.

SmokehouseBright and vibrant, the Smokehouse is full of atmosphere

and aromas.

Bookings accepted for 1 – 100 people. Bookings of more than 20 guests attract a minimum spend per person.

We offer a great selection of Group Sharing Menus priced between $80pp and $125pp, and 2.5hrs Beverage Packages

at either $55pp or $85pp.

Private Dining RoomThe Private Dining Room is adjacent to the Smokehouse and can accommodate up to 15 people. This could be your perfect space for both informal business meetings – data connections and a television can be made available – or an

exclusive NOLA dining experience.

Bookings in the Private Dining Room attract a minimum spend as well as 10% gratuity for the team.

Bespoke Events at NOLA Smokehouse & BarAt NOLA we understand that every event is different. Therefore, we offer Full-Venue Exclusives as well as Part-Venue Exclusives – the full venue consisting of Smokehouse, Bar and French Quarter can accommodate up to 270 people

standing.
