• PI’s can get stipend of up to 1.500 TL (~800$) / month
•Co‐PI’s get a stipend of up to 750 TL (~400$) / month
• Fellowships for graduates:– 1.500 TL (~800$) / month for MSc students– 1.800 TL (~1.000$) / month for PhD students– 2.250 TL (~1.250$) / month for Postdoc fellows

Purpose : to support highly qualified students intending to complete their PhD studies in Turkey.
Requirements :• be a non‐Turkish citizen• be under the age of 30• be accepted as a PhD student at a university in
Turkey• certify that he/she has sufficient English or Turkish to
pursue his/her studiesFunding Scheme : travel and research grants (per month) are
met by TÜBİTAK. Tuition fees and health insurance may also be included.
Amount : 1800TL (~1000$) /monthDuration : 4 years (maximum)Application Periods : Twice a year
PhD Fellowship Program for Foreigners

Purpose : to support highly qualified PhD students/researchers to perform part of their research in Turkey
Requirements :• be a non‐Turkish citizen• be under the age of 35• be accepted by one of the universities or research
institutes in Turkey• certify that he/she has sufficient English orTurkish to
perform the researchFunding Scheme : travel and research grants (per
month) are met by TÜBİTAK. Health insurance may also be included.
Amount : 2.250TL (~1.150$) /monthDuration :12 months (maximum)Application Periods : Twice a year
Research Fellowship Program for Foreigners
TÜBİTAK
Purpose :To support scientists/experts working abroad to visit Turkey by seminars conferences, lectures, research and technological innovation.
Requirements : Scientists or researchers employed by thestate and private sector institutions
Funding Scheme : Travel expenses of the visiting scientist are metby TÜBİTAK. Moreover, for visits up to 4 weeks,an honorarium may be given to the visitingscientist.
Amount : max. 3000$ /month
Duration :12 months (maximum)
