About the Findhorn Foundation

The Findhorn Foundation is a dynamic experiment where everyday life is guided by the inner voice of Spirit, where we work in co-creation with the intelligence of nature and take inspired action towards our vision of a better world. We share our learning and way of life in experiential workshops, conferences and events that take place within a thriving community and ecovillage. The Common Ground gives a statement of our Principles, Essence and Guidelines and the Annual Report, an overview of our activities.

The Findhorn Foundation (ff) is a unique organisation, very different from most workplaces. Joining the Foundation is a significant commitment on many levels - personal, work and spiritual. You will have the opportunity to be a part of programmes within the Foundation. These programmes are a required part of residential life, though are often considered a benefit, as they offer opportunities for deeply enriching connections and personal growth.

What to ExpectUpon arrival, you will begin with the Findhorn Foundation Experience Week (if you have not already done so).

• Following Experience Week, you will participate in the Living In Community as a Guest (lcg) programme for one month while starting to work in your role as Development Officer Fundraising. This is to support integration into the daily practices, rhythms and community life at Findhorn.

• After this month, you will have a review, and if it still is a good fit for both sides, you would start Learning Essentials Applicant Programme (Leap).

• After this, there will be a final review. If it is still a good fit for both sides, a longer term contract would be discussed.

These programmes would be funded by the ff for the successful applicant who agrees to a one year working commitment. Tax credits are available to uK citizens, since this is a minimum wage job, but you would need to apply for them yourself. You would be a member of the community, subscribe to our common ground principles and participate in community activities, including some weekend work.

Living and working in the Findhorn Foundation may be deeply rewarding, and also, deeply challenging. Living in this potent atmosphere of intention and dedication takes courage and commitment to your spiritual journey. We welcome your unique contribution to the Findhorn Foundation!
