    Component Description - Tasks

    For most Sales users, Tasks are akin to a traditionalOutlook Task or To-do.

    Tasks represent work that has a goal date that thetask should be completed by.

    Tasks are used to indicate that there is work to be

    completed by someone. They can be assigned to more than one person

    Tasks can be scheduled manually only, in v1

    Users not directly associated with a task can view the details when

    in the context of the parent, e.g. opportunity.

    Component Description - Appointments

    This component allows users to create, view, updateand delete appointments.

    This component also allows users not directly

    associated with an appointment to view the details

    (when in the context of the parent, e.g. opportunity orlead).

    This component also provides the user with daily,

    weekly, monthly calendar views, showing all

    appointments for the user.

    Component Description - Interactions

    Interactions are the tracking of customercommunications in the context of the channels through

    which they occur, the business objects they refer to,

    and the participants.

    The primary purpose of interactions is to provide a

    historical view of the communications that have taken

    place. They can take the form of phone calls, emails,

    chats, meetings, web conferences and other channels.

    This component allows users to create, view, update

    and delete interactions in the context of customers,contacts or related business objects.
