Ewe Lick & Ewe Lick HPC

Ewe lick (V22967)

This is a high quality �ow through protein supplement for sheep grazingon various pastures. Ewe lick ensure increased re production and milkproduction of lactating ewes.

Ewe lick supply the needed phosphate and trace minerals for maximumproduction and growth.

Recommendation:

Intake: Dry ewes 250 gram per day Late pregnant ewes 300 - 400 gram per day Lactating ewes 300 - 600 gram per day

Ewe lick HPC (V22964)

Ewe lick HPC (50% protein) is an ideal product for the self mixing oflicks for sheep. The concentrate contains of all the necessary protein andminerals for the self mixing of a complete lick. The concentrate can bemixed with salt, molasses, grains as well as other farm producedproducts. High levels of trace minerals are included so that the �nal lickcontains optimal levels.

Ewe lick HPC can also be used to mix a complete composition of feed forewes.

Ewe lick HPC must never be given to animals unmixed.Mixtures, as set out on the right hand side, are recommended foranimals in di�erent production stadia.Consult the Telwiedré representatives/marketers for other mixing ratio'sif and when your ingredients di�er from those set out in the example.

Telwiedré Feeds mixes and manufactures a "new generation" lick range of products in a modern lick plant in the North Eastern Free State. These "new generation" Futa licks are formulated according to the latest research to support all animals on pastures.

With the development of the Futa lick range of products the attempt was speci�cally to �ll the "gap" which pastures cannot provide to animals in di�erent production stages. The purpose is to ensure that intake and digestibility of pastures are being stimulated to the maximum. The ratio of a higher level of rumen degradable protein, and a lower level of non protein nitrogen is included to �ll the limited level of nutritional substances. The use of a highly absorbable phosphate source is unique in this whole lick range of products.

In cooperation with Dr. Piet van Zyl (058 8522140), and the latest research, a full range of minerals and trace minerals are included to provide for speci�c needs of animals during all seasons. Telwiedré tries to ensure, in an economical manner, insured lick intake of animals grazing on winter and summer pastures, with this Futa lick range of products.
