in a variety of forms and contexts

Everyone completes Week 13 as an Introduction and Week 18 as a Wrap-up.
Students complete one of the Units using one of the Tools from this Module over a six week period.

Unit D: Once upon a Time Create subject-specific digital stories; Annotate pictures of famous works of art; Create a video dictionary for ESL or science class; Create digital stories about current events Share, comment, and add notes to photos or images to be
used in the classroom; Use tools in Flickr Toys to create motivational posters,
magazine covers, cd covers, and more, using shared photos;
Create a storybook using shared images; Post images to inspire writing and creativity; Find resources to embed in blogs and wikis; Represent literature or poetry through photos.

Unit E: Paint by Numbers Creating graphic organizers and Venn Diagrams using
Excel can include any discipline – Ancient Civilization graphic organizer, cell organelle graphic organizer
Create timeline; Analyze classroom data from science experiments Create single use spreadsheets to convert temperatures
from Celsius to Fahrenheit, determine sales tax on an item etc;
Create charts and graph or scatter plots for homework or projects in Math or Science lab reports;
Create mindmaps; Real-world student projects like predicting trends in real
estate, mortgage rates, stock market, obesity in America.

Unit F: Multimedia Mania Flash cards for foreign language; Field Trip Slide Shows - Develop field trip slide shows to
review and apply knowledge learned on a field trip. Students can work together to make a slide show that presents what they saw, as well as what they learned; or better yet a virtual field trip;
Autobiographical Stories or Biographical Stories; Interactive Book Reports; Presentations of any type for any subject; Authentic student projects such as starting a new business Screencasting; eScrapbooking.
