A6M3 Model 32: Clipped wing variant built from June to December 1942. Model32s comprised 50% of Zeros built during this period. First entered combat inSeptember 1942 in Solomons. Ring & bead backup sight. Stations 1 & 3 may carryone bomb of up to 132lbs. Station 2 is for 87g drop tank.
A6M3 Model 22: A6M3 Zero built with larger model 21 wings and extra internal fuel.Endurance = 270. Reduce all dive speeds by 0.5. Bank FPs = 2/2, 2/3, 5/6, 7/8.Built from December 1942 to August 1943. All else as Model 32.
A6M3a Model 22A: Model 22 with long-barrel Type 99m3 cannons. Available fromMarch 1943 on (D10 ≤ 5 to have). Use gun data after slashes. Model 22s & 22Ascomprised 30% of Zero production during this period. All else as Model 22.
