1. CONTRACTORS SHALL FIELD VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS AND MAKE ADJUSTMENTS AS NECESSARY TO WORK WITHEXISTING CONDITIONS. NOTIFY ARCHITECT OF ANY DISCREPANCIES WHICH MAY AFFECT THE OUTCOME OF THE WORK.SOME UNITS ARE A MIRROR IMAGE OF WHAT IS INDICATED. FIELD VERIFY ALL UNITS.

2. DIMENSIONS ARE SHOWN FROM FACE OF EXISTING FINISH AT EXISTING PARTITIONS. DIMENSIONS ARE GIVEN FORCONTRACTOR'S GENERAL INFORMATION AND SHALL BE FIELD VERIFIED BY CONTRACTOR.

3. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT EXISTING SURFACES/EQUIPMENT FROM DUST, DIRT, ETC. DURING ALL CONSTRUCTIONACTIVITIES. AFTER ALL WORK IS COMPLETED, CONTRACTOR SHALL CLEAN ALL UNITS SO THAT THEY ARE FREE OF ANYCONSTRUCTION DIRT AND DEBRIS.

CABINETS. PATCH OR INSTALL NEW VCT FLOOR TILE AS NECESSARY AT PERIMETER OF CABINETS (THICKNESS AND PATTERN

TO BE APPROVED BY THE PHA). PATCH VINYL BASE AS NECESSARY DUE TO KITCHEN CABINET REPLACEMENT (MATCH

7. IL-45-1 AND IL-45-4: CONTRACTOR SHALL PAINT KITCHENS INCLUDING WALLS, SOFFITS, CEILINGS, WINDOW TRIM, DOORTRIM, BASE TRIM, AND INTERIOR FACE OF ENTRY DOORS (LOCATED IN KITCHEN). CLEAN, SAND, AND PREP ALL SURFACESPRIOR TO PAINTING IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPEC SECTION 09 90 00 AND PAINT MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS.ALL EXISTING PAINTED GYP. BOARD SURFACES SHALL RECEIVE TWO COATS OF PAINT - ALL NEW GYP. BOARD SURFACESSHALL RECEIVE ONE COAT OF PRIMER AND TWO FINISH COATS OF PAINT. 4. REMOVE ALL EXISTING HPDL ON KITCHEN WALLS. PATCH/REPLACE GYP. BOARD AS REQUIRED AND PREP WALL SURFACEFOR NEW HPDL.

5. CONTRACTOR SHALL TEMPORARILY REMOVE AND REINSTALL EXISTING APPLIANCES AS NECESSARY TO REPLACE EXISTINGCABINETS (UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE). MAINTAIN POWER TO REFRIGERATORS AT ALL TIMES. NO TENANT SHALL BEWITHOUT AN OPERABLE RANGE AND WORKING SINK AT THE END OF EACH WORKING DAY.

7. EXISTING BASEBOARD HEATERS ARE TO REMAIN. TAKE CARE NOT TO DAMAGE.

EXISTING RANGEHOOD TO BE REMOVED, CLEANED, AND STORED FOR RE-INSTALLATION - SEE MEP SHEETS.

REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF EXISTING CABINETS , COUNTERTOPS, AND ASSOCIATED MATERIALS.

REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF EXISTING HOLLOW METAL DOOR. TAKE CARE NOT TO DAMAGE EXISTING HOLLOW METALFRAME. REMOVE WIND CHAIN AND LOCKSET FROM DOOR FOR RE-INSTALLATION AT NEW DOOR.
