French Immersion Program
A blend of online and in-person learning that supports students participating in personal equestrian related activities during the school day.

Any grade 10-12 student who wants to try out a career before they graduate. This is not limited to trades. Students volunteer / work in a field they are interested in.
90 hours work/volunteer & 20 hours of course work = 4 credits.Students can get up to 8 credits total.
If possible next year:
Students in film or drama wanting to participate as background or job shadow next year can get application forms from Mr. French, Mr. Hamilton, Ms. Eyre, Counselling or the Career Center.
Note: STUDENTS MUST APPLY FOR WAVE (applications at Counselling or the Career Centre)
Youth Work in Trades

Up to 16 high-school credits : 480 work-based training hours for your trade credential
Youth Train in Trades

This course is for responsible students who model exceptional student behavior and who are interested in working alongside classroom teachers to assist, engage and encourage student in the classroom.
Students may choose to be a Peer Tutor in a variety of different subject areas (Grade 8-9), working with a teacher with whom they feel comfortable.
Please see the course planning booklet for more information. Students will select Peer Tutoring as an “outside of the timetable” to indicate their interest in this program. Applications will be available later in the spring for those who indicate interest.
