“Igniting Sales Team Performance”Presented by: Kenneth L. Di Bella, Chief Executive Officer, SuccessImperatives, LLC

Companies throughout the world have had to deal with challenges with sales team performance:

“The average turnover rate of sales personnel in the U.S. is 26% and there are 20 million salespeople just in the top 30 direct-selling corporations. If you estimate each person’s salary at $50,000, and if it costs 38% of that to fire someone and hire someone new, you’re talking about billions of wasted dollars. Good strategy, good sales management and good training can reduce those costs significantly.

Wall Street Journal/Market Watch June 28th, 2013

So, if it seems as if you’ve tried everything but continue to wrestle with an underperforming sales team and can’t seem to find the solution, you are not alone!!! Join us on March 12th at the new member breakfast to learn about a refreshingly new approach that is guaranteed to increase revenue and profits while solving these challenges permanently.

Ken Di Bella is a nationally recognized authority on personal growth, business development and executive training that has developed a proprietary approach to sales team management that will turn the Pareto Principle (80/20) in your favor. Ken is a dynamic and insightful speaker who has lived the very challenges for which he now has meaningful solutions. Ken has trained business development professionals and executives from companies the likes of Continental Telephone Company, New York Life Insurance Company, ATT, MedImpact, Travelers Insurance Company and a host of other companies and associations.

Ken, at the age of 22 became the #1 salesperson among a national sales force of better than two thousand Life, Health and Financial Planning Services professionals for the Travelers Insurance Company. He took the experience received at the Travelers along with a healthy dose of passion and the skills he developed to Sanus Texas Health Plan Health Maintenance Organization a division of The New York Life Insurance Company. While there, he crafted a sales team that took that organization to unprecedented levels of sales success.

Ken was selected to lead two healthcare organizations in need of turn-around and was successful in positioning those organizations for significant organic growth which lead to successful acquisitions by Fortune 200 healthcare companies.

“Experience that lead to a solution”

His better than forty years of successful business development, grass roots, managerial and executive business experience, spanning entrepreneurial, mid-cap and Fortune 1000 companies has provided

Ken the launch pad for asking the question, “what causes the seemingly endless problem of sales team underperformance?. That question begged the somewhat deeper question to why it happens and the logical follow-up, how can this situation be addressed.

After devoting thousands of hours of research into the development of sales teams Ken developed the following:

(S.T.O.P) Sales Team Optimization Programs

(S.T.A.R.T.) Sales Team Assessment, Recruiting and Training System

Ken will share insights as to how each of you can implement these ideas into the daily management of your current sales teams to ensure the future success of your company.

Wanted: Chamber members who would like to discover how to create a million dollar business

with access to the new GATE program.

How would you like your business to generate a minimum of $1 million dollars per year?

OK… so how do you plan to accomplish this goal? Here are the startling facts you MUST know…

Less than 3% of small business owners make more than$100,000 annually and less than one half of

1% ever reach $1 million dollars in total revenue

When you factor in a 30% profit margin on a million dollars in revenue, that only translates into an actual income of $300,000. And a big chunk of that goes to the government.

That’s not much more than the business owner was making when they worked a regular job and didn’t have all the worries and headaches they have now. And for those that do make $300,000 annually… they’re in the top one half of 1% of ALL wage earners.

Most small business owners make far less than thatand have no clue how to make things better

What if we could make available to you an entire series of strategies that have a proven and tested track record for generating million dollar businesses? How would you like to receive information every week by email that will walk you, step-by-step, through the process required to build a multimillion dollar business?

You don’t need to take our word for it!If you’re serious about building a successful business and you’ve decided that now is the time to invest in the professional help that can make a dramatic difference in your revenue and profitability, then your chamber is here to help. Sign-up today to get started! Here’s the link:

Mayor Stinchcomb Delivers Final Business Address to Members

On February 12, 2015 Gahanna Mayor Becky Stinchcomb delivered her annual and final State of the City presentation to Gahanna’s business community at the Chamber luncheon. Stinchcomb’ s address highlighted the City’s successes of 2014 and shared updates on priorities, projects and initiatives for 2015 and beyond.

In 2014, Gahanna experienced significant new business growth with the addition of 88 new companies, representing an 83 percent increase from the previous year. Combined, these businesses added more than 600 new jobs to the city’s economy. Some of these businesses include The Barn at Rocky Fork, MNX and Super Chef’s just to name a few.

With regard to capital investment, the City doubled the amount of construction projects in 2014 from the previous year.

Over the past year, there has been tremendous growth in the area of commercial development along the Hamilton Road Corridor. Building upon the success of Commons at Clark Hall, the shops at Rocky Fork is slated to open later this year. This new development will feature a mix of restaurants and personal services including Tom and Chee, Gigi’s Cupcakes and Sports Clips Haircuts.

Further up Hamilton Road, just north of Granville Street, Kemba Credit Union, whose corporate headquarters is already based in Gahanna, will open a retail branch in Gahanna in the second half of this year.

In addition to commercial construction, the city saw an increase in the development of residential units in the area. Last year, 269 residential units were in construction, including a 180-unit residential project, Park Crossing. The new residential project is planned to open its doors later this year.

Combined, Park Crossing, Kemba and the Shops at Rocky Fork total $30 million in investments for the city.

Stinchcomb shared the city’s plans to support Gahanna businesses through its investment in infrastructure improvements. One of the most traveled areas in the city is the Hamilton Road corridor. Residential and business growth has generated additional traffic that has exceeded the capacity of the current roadway. Last year, the City completed the planning of the final phase of its long-term goal of widening the Hamilton Road in the section between Route 62 and Carpenter Road. Over 90 percent of this project has been funded through grants. Leveraging a total $16 million in grant funding, the City will begin construction on this project late this summer.

Stinchcomb concluded her presentation by reaffirming her commitment to engage the Gahanna business community in strategies that support future business growth, job creation and capital investment for the city.

On Thursday, March 13, 2015, Mayor Becky Stinchcomb will deliver her annual and final State of City address to Gahanna Citizens at Gahanna Middle School West. An open house will take place with Department Directors and the address will begin at 7:00 p.m.
