5. Manual Mechanical OperationThe irrigation can be opened and closed independent of controller operation. Manual operation is useful when irrigation required immediately but there is inadequate time and/ or knowledge for programming or the battery is unavailable. The manual operating handle is located in the back, lower section of the skirt.

The mechanical opening lever is black.

The lever has 3 positions:1.AUTO – mid position2.CLOSE - rotating clockwise, inany position3.OPEN - rotating counter clockwise

In normal working conditions, the lever should be in the middle, position AUTO.

* If it is necessary to replace thesolenoid, do not disassemble the bluering underneath

Galcon has devloped irrigation controllers with a sensor connection.One of the advanced programs in the system is the option to control the irrigation by using the preventing sensor. Preventing sensors are ones that prevent the operation of the system when the relevant conditions come to exist. For example, if the controller is connected to a rain sensor, irriation will operate as long as the sensor is dry. When it starts raining the sensor will immediately stop the irrigation from working and sensor light will show.

Different types of sensors can be installed: Rain sensor, Temperature sensor etc.The sensor type must be N.C. (Normally closed).To install:1. Cut the yellow wire in the middle (do not strip the wires).2. Join each yellow wire end to the sensor wire with the waterproof connector.

1. Galcon shall, for a limited period of 36 months from the retailpurchasedateoftheoriginal(first)purchaser(“the WarrantyPeriod”),providelimitedwarrantyforthe Products,asprovidedforandsubjecttotheprovisionsand limitationsofthisLimitedWarrantyCertificate.

2. Galcon’s Warranty for the Product only extends to the originalpurchaseroftheProduct(“theCustomer”)who, uponrequestingwarrantyservice,mustpresentGalcon withavalidpurchasereceipt.Failuretoproducethesaid documentationwillresultintherequestforwarrantybeing nullandvoid.

3. GALCONwarrantstotheCustomerthattheProduct shall materially conform to the description in Galcon’s documentationandshallbefreefromdefectsinmaterial andworkmanship.Accordingly,Customer’ssoleand exclusiveremedyunderthiswarrantyistherepairor–to Galcon’ssolediscretion–thereplacementoftheProduct or any part\s according to the terms of this Warranty, and nootherremedyshallbeavailable.Therefore,if-within theWarrantyPeriod-theProductisproventobedefective byreasonoffaultyworkmanshipormaterialsbyGalcon, Galconundertakes,withreasonablepromptness,tohave thedefectiveProduct(oranypart/sthereof)repaired,or atGalcon’sdiscretion,replaced;Allsubjecttotheterms andconditionsofthisLimitedWarrantyCertificate.

4. Galcon’swarrantyfortheProductorotherwiseshall notapplytoanyofthefollowing:(i)anyconduct(byact oromission)notbyGalcon,includinganymisuse/ abuseofanyProduct(orpart/sthereof),and/orany failuretoinstalland/oruseanyProductinfullcompliance withGalcon’sinstructions;(ii)othersystems/components/ devices/technologiesand/ortheintegration/interface thereofwithanyProduct;(iii)anypart/componentwhich hasbeenincluded/installedinanyProductnotatGalcon’s approvaland/orotherthanbyGalcon;(iv)anyactualor attemptedchange/repair/interferenceof/withanyProduct (includinganyuse/handlingof,and/orinterference/dealing with,anycodeofanysoftwareincluded/usedinthe Product)otherthanbyGalcon;(v)anydata/information/ contentwhichhasbeeninserted/includedinaProduct; (vi)malfunctionordamageresultingfromaccidents,which occurduringtransitand/orhandling,and/ormalfunction ordamageduetofire,earthquake,flood,lightningand/

Inadditionandwithoutderogatingfromtheprovisions ofthisWarranty,Galcon’swarrantyisconditionedupon theallofthefollowingtakingplace:(i)Customer’s operatingandmaintainingtheProductinaccordancewith Galcon’sinstructions;(ii)Customer’snotbeingindefault ofanypaymentobligationtotheGalcon(oritsauthorized dealer,asrelevant).

Galcondoesnotgiveanywarrantyorguarantee whatsoeverinrespectofanyProduct(oranypart/s thereof)whichhasnotbeenmanufacturedanddistributed bytheGalconandwhichhasnotbeenpurchasedfromthe Galconoranyofitsauthorizeddealers,whethersuch productsarebrandedwithanytrademarkssimilartoany trademarkbelongingtoorusedbyGalcon.

7. After replacement or repair of the Product, the Warranty fortheneworrepairedProductshallbevalidonlyfor thenon-expiredperiodoftheoriginalWarrantyPeriod. AnydefectiveProductsorpart/s,whichhasbeenreplaced, shallbecomeGalcon’sproperty.

8. GalconreservestherighttochargetheCustomerifany warrantyserviceisrequestedandcarriedoutbutnofault isfoundintheProductorifsuchdefect/faultisnotunder Galcon’s Warranty.

9. Notwithstandinganythingtothecontrary,Galconshallnot beresponsibleand/orliable,underanycircumstances andinanyway,foranyloss,damage,costs,expenses, expenditures,responsibilityand/orliability(including ofCustomerand/oranythirdparty)–including(without limitation)directand/orindirect(includingincidentaland/ orspecialand/orconsequential),howeverarising, including in respect of damages to or loss of property and/orequipment,lossofprofit,lossofuse,lossof revenueordamagestobusinessorreputation,whetheror notbasedonbreachofcontract,tort(including negligence),productliabilityorotherwise-arisingfrom theperformanceornon-performanceofanyaspectofthe Productoranypartthereof;Alloftheabove,whetheror notGalconand/ortheCustomershallhavebeenmade awareofthepossibilityofsuchloss.

10. Inanyevent,anyliabilitywhichGalconmayhaveinconnectionwiththeProductand/orthisWarranty,including(withoutlimitation)inconnectionwithand/orresultingfromtheProduct(oranypartthereof)andtheusethereof,shallbelimitedtoatotalamount(foralldamages,claimsandcausesofactionintheaggregate)equaltotheconsiderationactuallyreceivedbyGalconfromtheCustomerfortheProduct.Thelimitationsshallapplywhethertheliabilityisbasedoncontract,tort,strictliabilityoranyothertheory.

11. ThisWarrantyandtheremediessetforthhereinareexclusiveandinlieuofallotherwarranties,remediesandconditions,whetheroral,written,statutory,expressorimplied.Galconspecificallydisclaimsanyandallstatutoryorimpliedwarranties,including,withoutlimitation,warrantiesofmerchantabilityandfitnessforaparticularpurposeandwarrantiesagainsthiddenorlatent defects.

12. TheCustomershallbesolelyresponsiblefortheselection,use,efficiencyandsuitabilityoftheProduct(s).

13. TheprovisionsofthisLimitedWarrantyCertificateshallbeinterpretedandgoverned,solelyandexclusively,pursuanttothelawsoftheStateofIsrael,andnootherlawshallapply.AnyandalllegalactionsshallbelitigatedwithinthejurisdictionofthecourtsofIsrael,andnootherjurisdictionshallapply.
