1. Theme Installation

After the successful theme purchase you will receive an email including your individual theme.

In the galo-package.zip you will find:

galo folder and zip file > Its the parent theme

galochildthemefolder folder and zip file > Its the child theme you can change the nameof the folder with your we!site name"

1.1 Installation via WordPress Admin Panel

)o to *Appearance > +hemes, and click on *Add ew,. +hen click on *pload +heme, and select

your galo.zip and choose *Install ow,. ow you have to repeat the se/uencewith galochildthemefolder.zip, this time click onactivate. 0ere we go1 you have your child theme

installed.

1.1 Installation via TP

2ou can also install the theme via 3+# with 3ilezilla. pload the unzipped folders to the

directory !"#p-content"themes". +hen go to *Appearance > +hemes, where you can see your

theme and install it using the *Activate, !utton.

$. The %ustomizer

+he theme uses the 4ord#ress 5ustomizer like the 6ption Admin #anel.

)o to *Appearance > 5ustomize,. 2oull !e a!le to customize your theme and see the preview

!efore you save and pu!lish.

2ou can decide if you like the $ide!ar on the right or left position.

Icons and #ortfolio hover.

2ou can change the default footer credits section.

In the admin panel under *Appearance > 'enus, you can set up custom menus for the #rimary

avigation in the left side!ar".

2ou have three options:

).1 log Page

Its the default option1 so you dont need to set nothing.

).$ eader Image

2ou can for e(ample upload an 0eader Image like in our demo1 in place of the classic $ite +itle and

+agline.

$o1 go to *Appearance > 0eader,1 then choose the image and upload. +he !est size is 1/+/01$/

).( Portfolio

Add a new page with the 3ull-width #age +emplate and paste the shortcode 9portfolio-grid-

items;

6. Page Template

In an empty page you can choose some page template under *#age Attri!utes > +emplate,

like ull-#idth Page Template 1 7ight *ide2aror 8o *ide2ar.

9. Post ormats

+he theme supports the post formats )allery and Image. 2our thum!nail image will !e visi!le on

the !log page1 not again in the single post.

+he Eetpack plugin options +iled )alleries and 5arousel are helpful features for your gallery posts.

2ou can em!ed as well youtu!e video1 vimeo video and audio player.

It is ready for theme translations. 2ou can add your own translation or customize an e(isting trans-lation easily using the 4ord#ress plugin 5odestyling 8ocalization. If you want to share your

4ord#ress child theme is a theme that inherits the functionality of another theme1 called the

parent theme. 5hild themes allow you to modify1 or add to the functionality of that parent theme.

A child theme is the safest and easiest way to modify an e(isting theme1 whether you want to

make a few tiny changes or e(tensive changes.

In the zip file you can find the child theme ready for your we!site.
