Cancellation Policy:A cancellation fee of 200.00 per person + non-refundable tour expenses will be charged for any cancellation received from time of booking to 121 days

prior to departure. A cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour cost + non-refundable tour expenses will be charged for cancellations 120-91 days prior to departure. A cancellation

fee of 100% of the total tour cost will be charged for cancellations received 90-0 days prior to departure.

10 Day Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Depart for airport flight to Quito, Ecuador check into our hotel.

Day 2: Today we begin with a visit downtown Quito to relish in the urban jewel

and its treasures. Quito’s colonial quarter, the largest and best preserved

of South America, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will stroll at the

Independence Plaza, the Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, the

Municipal bldg and the Archbishop’s Palace. We will visit the temple of La

Compania de Jesus and its awesome gilded interior. Then we continue to

the Equatorial Monument which marks the exact middle of the World,

latitude zero, where you can stand with a foot on each hemisphere. A

certificate for having crossed the Equator will be given at the end of out

tour. (B,L)

Day 3: After breakfast we transfer to the airport we arrive at Baltra Island and

transfer to the dock to board the M/V Santa Cruiz where we receive our

welcome introductory briefing, boat drill and lunch. This is a great

introductory (B,L,D)

Day 4: Today we explore the coast by Panga, a nesting place for a Galapagos

highlight: flightless cormorants. We can snorkel along the cliffs of the

area rich in marine life, seasonally visited by the green sea turtles and

oceanic sun Fish. Afternoon: is dedicated to exploring Fernandina a very

unique environment with a high density of marine iguanas, who share

their space with sea lions, and penguins (B,L,D)

Day 5: After breakfast we land at this cove on the northwest of Isabela. Guests

walk up to the rim of a crater, Darwin lake, filled with salt water and to a

dramatic viewpoint then we take a Panga ride to spot local wildlife. After

lunch we disembark at Urbina Bay, the fascinating result of an uplifting

of the ocean floor in 1954. Here we can admire corals, shells and many

other calcareous organisms exposed above water. (B,L)

Day 6: Today we visit the Charles Darwin Research Station’s giant tortoise Breeding Centre within an impressive

giant prickly-pear cactus forest home to many land birds. Following our visit we board our transport to enjoy

lunch in the cooler highlands of Santa Cruz Island, Options available for the afternoon’s activities. (B,L,D)

Day 7: A short walk leads us to the historic barrel where postcards are traditionally left for guests from other vessels

to hand-deliver to their destinations. Near Post Office Bay, we explore the north shore of Floreana along

narrow channels teeming with life. After Lunch, we take to the Pangas and glass-bottom boat to explore the

underwater wonder around Champion Islet, and extinct shield volcano. From there its on to Cormorant Point a

wet landing on the olivine-crystal beach for an easy walk to where greater flamingos, pintail ducks, common

stilts, herons, and sandpipers. We continue our walk over to a white-sand beach where sea turtles emerge from

the sea at night to nest (B)

Day 8: Today we disembark at Baltra Island in order to transfer to the airport to take the flight back to the mainland

for our flight back home (B)
