July is the month for pruning yourroses if you are in SE Qld. Remember that it' best to only waterbetween 10 am and 3 pm, particularin cooler areas. Don't prune Spring flowering shrubsnow as you will remove new budgrowth. Dead or dying foliage can becut back unless you experiencefrosts in your area. Now is the perfect time for planting: Flowers - Pansies | Alyssum | Larkspur |Cornflowers Fruit & Vegetables - Radicchio | Pak Choi | BrusselSprouts | Broccoli Herbs -Sage | Coriander | Oregano | ItalianParsley

Adding mulch to garden beds is agood idea during the dry months ofwinter. This will ensure moistureretention and consistency of soiltemperatures, keeping root systemswarm and toasty.
