Grade 3 Spanish Lesson Farm animals
OBJECTIVE:
Students will be able to name and identify the farm animals: La granja, el perro, el gato, la vaca, el cerdo, la oveja, la gallina, el pato y el caballo
Students will be able to review the farm animal’s vocabulary
Students will expand their knowledge, using in Spanish the names of the farm animals and be able to recognize their sounds
STANDARD(S):
7.1.NM.A.1 Recognize familiar spoken or written words and phrases contained in cultural
authentic materials using
electronic information sources related to targeted themes.
7.1.NM. A.3 Recognize a few common gestures and cultural practices associated with the target
culture(s)
7.1.NM.A.5 Demonstrate comprehension of brief oral and written messages using age- and level-appropriate, culturally authentic materials on familiar topics

level related to self and targeted themes.
