I was a joiner for 8 years until I made the decision to move into management. I am now a Senior construction manager who has been involved in various schemes throughout the country. I have the ability to manage projects up to 35m at a senior level. I have run 3-4 sites as a number 1 to a high finish and within budget, Maintaining Health & Safety, ensuring operatives and subcontractors operate according to risk and method statements. Within this role I Manage materials, ensuring quantities and materials are site prior to sub contractors needing them. I manage subcontractors, labour, plant and resources within the build and ensure company standards on site are adhered to. I monitor plant equipment costs and preliminaries including set up, cost of plant and office. I have good knowledge of the budget, which helps to ensure minimum waste and best value. I apply contra charges to contractors to retain minimal loss. I also discuss with Quantity Surveyors and Buyers site issues and suggest alternatives. I organise and schedule site operatives, Monitor and review site programme and Chair pre-start and progress meetings. I work to programme and where possible and keep ahead of time. I also monitor and review quality insurance. All my certificates are up to date. I am available immediately. Summary
