2012 Monsta Ink Flash Viewer

Design, install and commission software that allows customers to easily view designs and require information without waiting for an employee to help them.

Project Overview I originally did this software in 2001 in VB6 for Eagle Tattoos when Monsta Ink wanted to use the program I decided to Rewrite it, this was my first C# Project and it was a huge success. It has successfully helped customers and provided the owners of Monsta Ink with a massive increase in sales and customer care over the last 4 years. The software consists of many fantastic features that I implemented over and above the scope to make it that much better. For example, the ability to zoom in and out, to change a picture to Grayscale, to change the viewing layout and much more.

2013 KZN Dressage Instant Scoring Software

Design, install and commission software that allows spectators to view scores and current position on a large digital scoreboard. Design, install and commission software that allows staff to easily manage scores and schedules of events, to keep records of all horses and riders that compete and to also display custom messages to the spectators via digital scoreboard.

Project Overview This project was sponsored by Land Rover and other large companies. I managed to implement this system by dissembling a pc and mounting it inside a scoreboard that I built myself and used rs232 communication to pass information from the pc to the digital display, when the scoreboard was connected to power then the pc would automatically switch on and run a program that I designed to read from an Access Database that was stored on the pc. Inside the scoreboard I mounted a Wi-Fi router. Then I designed a program that ran on 2 touch screen laptops that was used by the 2 judges that input their scores directly into the database. This project was a very good learning experience and was a big success. The first time the system was operated was at the largest KZN dressage event of the year and was even focused on by live television. 2013 Gumtree Reloader An automated program that deletes and then posts adverts on Gumtree

Project Overview This project was implemented to not only help advertise my own services but to also earn a passive income by posting adverts for customers. By clicking record, the software records the position of every mouse click and what is typed while I post an advert and stores it in a sequence of events that is understood by the software in order to replay the recording easily. The software also has a management feature that allows me to easily change the wording, price, pictures, category, area and more of each advert. Building this program taught me more about programming than any other project I have worked on. With over 20 000 lines of code it has many more features and tricks that make it work so well. Below is a photo of my “Employees” posting 2160 Gumtree adverts a day. If I make a change to the program, I upload it to my server and all the machines update to the latest version automatically.

2014 Rentals Viewer Design, install and commission software that allows customers to easily view movies, watch trailers and search for a desired movie.

Project Overview This project was successfully implemented at Village Videos in Umhlanga and was a huge success. The program was very similar to the Flash Viewer Application listed above and was proven to be a very useful program. Many customers were pleased to easily search for movies that they wanted to watch and even watch a trailer before deciding to rent it.

2013 Hitachi Inkjet Lucky Numbers

Design, install and commission software for Seagle Inket Coding that allowed employees at the factories that rented there machines to easily be able to import a list of lucky numbers and print them onto the products.

Project Overview This project was implemented in many factories and when it came to printing the numbers onto the products ensuring that no duplicate numbers were printed, this proved difficult because of the amazing speed of the printers and especially when there are over 6 machines in a single product line. I am pleased that in the end the project was successful and was implemented before the given deadline. I was also contracted by this company to create the lucky numbers. I wrote a small program that created 10 million random unique numbers between 10 million and a 100 million.

2016 Hitachi Inkjet UI Design, install and commission an android application for Seagle Inket Coding that allowed their customers to interact with their Hitachi Printers via a tablet that would mounted next to the printer.

Android, Serial Communication, Import CSV via OTG

Project Overview This project was implemented in many factories, is also able to import a csv file of lucky numbers from a USB and able to pass the number to the printer via an OTG cable. The application starts up automatically on power on and disables the ability to close the app. The tablet also powers on when power resume.

2010 Stereograms Create an aplication to produce magazine quality SIRDS Single Image Random Dot Stereogram

Project Overview This project was done 3 times, The first time I built this application was in 1994 in BasicA and GWbasic The challenge was the program was built on a 286 with 8mb ram and 400mb hard drive and the 400,000,000 calculations took 10 hours to compile. The second time I built the program I rewrote it in Borland Turbo C , it took 51 seconds to compile. The third build was in VB6 and included a depth map builder.

2010 Sexpo 3D Gallery Design, program, build, print and supply the worlds first 3D erotic art gallery for Sexpo South Africa

Project Overview The project entailed taking stock images, building a depth map, then create an algorithm to transpose a flat image to a REVERSE 3D EFFECT so that too the viewer the objects in the image appeared to be floating in space. The images had to be enlarged 1600 % with little distortion. this required writing a special algorythm.
