Today it employs more than 3000 workers. The company story is now told in a new museum that opened in April 2014. It is located within the Fond du Lac Children’s’ Museum, 75 W. Scott Street. Inside you can trace the beginnings of Mercury Marine, learn about the secret testing facility in Florida, see dozens of motors and even the company’s venture into the snowmobile business. Admission is $1 per person or $5 for a family. For a spectacular “lake loop” combine an S.S.
