RECENT MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

1. Increased enrollment of Agricultural Engineering students from 53 (Sophomores-Seniors)

to 130 in two years. This trend is continuing, reaching approximately 280 students as of July 1996. Advise freshmen (75 in 2002).

2. Initiated French undergraduate student exchange in 1990 and attempting Spanish

undergraduate student exchange in 1995.

3. In 1993 Fall Semester, seven French engineering undergraduates were in the Agricultural Engineering or Food Science Department and one U.S. student is in France. All are funded by research projects.

4. Development Committee Chair in ABE 1997-2003.
