To keep pace with the energy evolution and sustainability, ScanTech Offshore has made the transition too cleaner energy technologies by offering a suit of gas-powered equipment to maximise the utilisation of natural or flared gases (APG) providing our customers a range of solutions to monetarise their waste gas streams.
We provide equipment and services for gas to power, gas compression services and compressed natural gas (CNG) systems.
Our engineering department are developing a gas to liquid (diesel) GTL solution utilising APG with the aim of bringing to market a proven system at a price point that makes sense for a positive financial investment decision.
Together with our partners and our 25 years’ experience, we have built a viable long-term business based on our traditional operating model.

GAS TURBINE GENERATORS
We can help you monetise-flared gas by generating power, reducing your operating costs, creating a new revenue stream and reducing your carbon footprint. Gas turbines accept a wider range of gas specifications including H2S and are ideally suited to APG waste streams. Notwithstanding higher capital cost versus gas engine generators, the operating cost are much lower representing up to a 30% lower lifetime cost.
With a range of gas turbine generators from 1MW to 6MW+ in modular configuration for upscaling or downscaling, we can engineer and deliver bespoke solutions to match your individual needs and provide full turnkey solutions via local EPC partners with industry leading reliability and the highest safety standards.
Should you purchase and operate your own assets such as gas turbines or high horsepower gas engines there are several cost factors to consider; the cost of the capital outlay required including the financing, associated interest and depreciation costs. More importantly, the life cycle OPEX costs including preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and the large management bandwidth for managing the operation including QHSE, staffing, spares, logistics and training. We offer direct sale, long-term rental and lease purchase options providing you a range of CAPEX and OPEX advantages for your consideration.
In addition to gas turbine generators, we provide traditional gas engine generators from 500kW to 3.5MW powered by renowned Waukesha & Caterpillar brands. These traditional generators generally require lower capital investment but require more preventative maintenance than a turbine that can result in higher operating costs. In partnership with the world’s leading packager of natural gas booster compressors, we provide industry-leading compression solutions improving business operations by providing dependable gas compression solutions. Infinitely scalable, our gas booster compressors come in a range of sizes from 150kW to 3.5MW with flows and pressures to meet your gas compression needs. If you need to boost your gas line pressure, reinject gas back into the formation or pump gas to production we can provide you with a solution.
Our range of gas boosters are available from several compressor manufacturers including the well renowned Ariel Corporation. Positioned to provide both gas and diesel driven engines from such renowned manufacturers as Caterpillar, Waukesha & MAN but to name a few. We offer sales, long-term rentals and lease purchase options all with 24/7 service and maintenance contracts.

Designed for a 20-year period of continuous service CNG compressors supplied by us deliver lowest overall lifetime cost. Utilising world-leading manufacturers of gas compressors with an estimated 70% market share and collaboration with the world’s leading provider of CNG tank trailer and automotive filling dispensers, ScanTech Gas Power Services integrates fully automated technology with remote monitoring systems to provide pioneering, safe and trusted CNG plant solutions for the virtual pipeline industry. Temperature compensated filling utilising a proprietary controller removes the need for closed loop, refrigerated gas cooling and associated water treatment plant. Our design approach reduces capital investment at project front end and minimises operating costs during project life cycle. From 3MMSCFD to 10MMSCFD, provision of gas compressors, filling dispensers, tank trailers to complete EPC facilities we have a solution for you.
If you prefer to own your equipment the majority of our products are available to purchase. New build and ex rental fleet are available via cash sales and lease purchase. Purchases can be supported by contract maintenance and the provision of operating people.

Providing a wide range of well test support engineering services we designed and deliver bespoke packages for high profile testing projects around the world. Our capability extends to the complete design, build and installation of fixed rig cooling systems, air compressor and steam generating systems and ancillary safety systems.
ENGINEERING SERVICES
Here at ScanTech Gas Power Services we are looking at ways of reinvigorating the opportunities for small-scale gas to liquid (GTL), with a particular focus on gas to sulphur free diesel. The technology has been around since 1928 but recent attempts to stimulate the market over the last 15 years has seen technology providers leaving the oil and gas space. Our belief is that gas to diesel could play a big part in monetarising the flaring of associated petroleum gases (APG) anywhere in the world. There is no doubt that the technology is reliable, many blue chip oil companies operate world scale plants. Our aim is to deliver small scale 2 – 5mmscfd modular GTL plants at a price point that makes sense for a positive financial investment decision.
