BepiColombo is EuropeanSpace Agency’s (ESA) missionto Mercury. It has beennamed after the Italianmathematician and engineerGiuseppe (Bepi) Colombo, known especially for hisworks on Mercury. Thespacecraft will set off in 2013on a journey lasting about sixyears

General ConsiderationsVolume overlapping need to be prevented by means of usingCAD design and GEANT4 tools
A separation between volumes of the order of 10 micronscan help to prevent volumen overlapping
Theaded objects are very code expensive i.e. a bolt of 15 cmlong and 6 mm diameter can reach upto 56klines
Some work is needed to be done to keep in the GDML filethe solid names from the original CAD models
The requirements for the external GEANT4 visualizationprograms need to be reviewed because the tessellatedmodels have pushed them to the limit.
