European Society for Vascular Surgery • 30th Annual Meeting2
30th Anniversary
Following last year’s highly successful Annual Meeting in Porto, we are excited to host this year’s ESVS Annual Meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark, celebrating our 30th Anniversary.
The main objectives of the Annual Meeting remain to support scientific research, to stimulate debate, to challenge existing beliefs, and to educate the next generation and all those interested in vascular surgery.
We look forward to achieving these objectives this year and we hope to see you there.
Copenhagen, Denmark • 28–30 September 2016 3
Welcome
Dear ESVS members, colleagues and partners,
The ESVS is pleased to invite you to attend the 30th Annual Meeting, which will be held for the second time since 1999 in Copenhagen, Denmark on 28-30 September 2016.
We are excited to bring the Annual Meeting to the beautiful city of Copenhagen, renowned as the cultural centre of Northern Europe not least with respect to arts and culinary experiences. We have selected a fantastic venue situated in the heart of Copenhagen which is the Tivoli Hotel and Congress Centre.
The scientific programme will provide vascular surgeons and other vascular specialists with a three-day meeting on the most up to date information about new developments in clinical practice and relevant research.
Important updates and re-evaluations of the latest technologies and techniques, pharmaceutical agents, radiation protection, diagnostic modalities, and data from clinical trials will be presented and discussed. The panel of expert international speakers will present this cutting edge information as well as being available for your comments and queries.
The centrepiece of the programme will be the peer reviewed presentations, selected from the best of the submitted abstracts in addition to state-of-the art lectures.
We look forward to welcoming you to Copenhagen and hope that you will enjoy our scientific programme.
