Dear Artist,
Thank you for registering for the 29th Annual St Thomas Aquinas Christmas Craft Fair.
We are looking forward to another successful Fair this year! In preparation for the Fair
we offer you the following instructions in order for things to run smoothly for you.
General Information for St.Thomas Aquinas Christmas Craft Fair 2015
Fair hours: Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 pm
Set - up: Sunday, November 1, 2015, starting no earlier than 7 am.
If you cannot make this time please contact us by October 30th
How to get there: If coming from Lonsdale, go west on 13th Street about 6 blocks, building is to your left.
If coming from Marine Drive follow Keith Road east up the hill 2 blocks building is to your
right.
Unloading Please report to Parking Supervisor for unloading instructions. Volunteers are available
to help unload, Crafters must bring their own dollies.
Crafters will be able to unload using either Front or Back Parking areas. Access to the
Foyer, Gym, and Cafeteria Zones is through the front of the building on West Keith Rd.
The Back Parking lot entrance is off of the corner of Forbes Ave. and West 6th St and
provides direct access to the Science Wing Zone.
The area will be congested so unload quickly and then please move your vehicle to the
designated parking zone for Crafters.
Crafters have parking space reserved for them at Mahon Park. A free shuttle will be

provided (see free shuttle information sheet attached*). All other parking near the school
is for your customers.
Floor plan: Please bring your copy of the floor plan/table numbers, as it will enable you to find your
table more efficiently. Please note, some numbers for the tables have changed, do not
be alarmed if your number is not the same as requested. Check floor plan for your table
number.
Booths: • Booths must be attractively draped to the floor to screen any boxes or
extra stock.
• Please remember your booth is an 8ft space with a 6’ x 3’ table provided.
• Your display unit must fit within this space.
• Crafters located on the gym floor near the stage may not store product on the
stage.
Electricity: Please bring your own extension cord. Maximum power allowed is 100 watts.
Float/change: Courtesy Bank will be provided later in the afternoon but please be sure to bring an
adequate float to start. We have not been able to provide an on site ATM – please plan
accordingly.
Refreshments: Coffee and Tea is complimentary all day. At STA we are concerned about our
environment, so please bring your own mug for all day free tea/coffee
Bistro: Muffins, cookies, meals/snacks are available for purchase.
Hostesses: Volunteers and Committee Members will welcome you on arrival and be available during
the day for table sitting during breaks, serving coffee/tea and exchanging cash at our
Courtesy Bank.

Door Prizes: Donation of a packaged door prize with your business card is required from each
Crafter - as an attraction for customers and a means of advertising for you! This
will be collected from each Crafter by 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
In Case of Fire Alarm: In the event of a fire alarm please exit the buildings immediately and proceed to the
North side of the school grounds (along Keith Road). Crafters are asked to muster on
the front entrance parking lot area where the numbers 8-1, 8-2, 8-3, 8-4 are spray
painted on the tarmac (adjacent to the fence). Once the fire department has cleared the
building for re-entry crafters will be let in first to the school. Once crafters are situated
back in their booths the public will be re-admitted.
ALL CRAFTERS MUST REFRAIN FROM TEARING DOWN THEIR BOOTH BEFORE 4 PM
Re-loading: Volunteers will assist you with merchandise to be loaded into your vehicle.
Parking: All Crafter vehicles will be parked in a remote parking lot (at Mahon Park), see map
attached. We will be running a free shuttle to and from the parking lot in the morning and
evening.

Driving Directions:
If heading East on Marine Drive and up Keith Road.
• You will see STA on your right hand side going up the hill.
• Pass STA and take your first left hand turn at Forbes Ave.
• Go up Forbes to 16th Street.
• Turn right on 16th.
• The Mahon Park Parking lot will be on your left hand side.
Please park here and catch the shuttle to STA.
If heading North on Lonsdale Ave:
• Turn left on to 16th Ave.
• Follow 16th down to Mahon Park which is on the corner of 16th and Jones Ave.
• Stay on 16th and you will see the Mahon Park Parking lot on your right hand
side.
Please park here and catch the shuttle to STA
If traveling south on Lonsdale:
• Turn right on 16th Avenue.
• Follow 16th down to Mahon Park which is on the corner of 16th and Jones Ave.
• Stay on 16th and you will see the Mahon Park Parking lot on your right hand
side.
Please park here and catch the shuttle to STA
(The Parking Lot is South of Fenn Burdett Stadium)

Free Shuttle Service for Crafters
Please take advantage of this service and leave the parking in and around STA for
your paying customers!
Shuttle Hours: Sunday: 7 am to 10am and 4 pm to 6 pm
Please do not park within grayed out area, this is for customers of the STA
