SCLI Framework Introduction

1. If one wants to use SCLI, the SCLI service must be enabled.

Run the command fstestcli to check if the SCLI service is enabled or not. The SCLI service is enabled if SCLIFwkServer is OK. Here is example:

[root@CLA-0(OcteonRM-1) /root]# fstestcliSCLIFwkServer Service OK

2. When the SCLI service is ok, SCLI daemon can handle the input from operator. 3. Logging SCLI using the following command before executing any SCLI commands

fsclish4. The framework of SCLI is as follows:

SCLI cmdtree

SCLI is organized together as a tree. Operator can select going to the sub-node or executing some command at a node of the cmdtree.

FP has a build-in cmdtree. In the cmdtree, there are build-in nodes, such as show, set, add etc. And these nodes has sub-nodes.

When you execute command “fsclish”, it shall go into the interface of SCLI.
