1. PROPOSED GRAVITY SEWERS, FORCE MAIN SEWERS AND MANHOLES (INCLUDING STRUCTURES A, B AND D) SHALL BE TESTED BE IN ACCORDANCE SECTIONS 039 AND 043 PROPOSED GRAVITY SEWERS, FORCE MAIN SEWERS AND MANHOLES (INCLUDING STRUCTURES A, B AND D) SHALL BE TESTED BE IN ACCORDANCE SECTIONS 039 AND 043 OF THE SPECIFICATIONS.

DEMOLITION OF THE EXISTING WET WELL AND VALVE VAULT SHALL BE AS CALLED FOR IN THE PLANS. 9. THE DISTRICT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SALVAGE ANY EQUIPMENT OR MATERIAL TO BE REMOVED OR DEMOLISHED. · Control Panel enclosure to be Hoffman Model C-SD423612 Enclosure with

Hoffman C-P4236 Panel.

· Wiring on door to be routed and secured using 1-Inch plastic wireway. Attach

wireway to door stiffeners and do not drill through front door panel.

BACKUP CONTROLLER

Outputs

· The Main Controller manages pump control while all conditions are normal.· The Backup Controller monitors a “heartbeat” from the Main Controller onInput 1/0.· This heartbeat is ON unless the PLC or the transducer fails· If the Main Controller is functioning the Backup Controller remains instandby mode.· In normal mode Relay R5 is not enabled letting both VFD’s be modulatedfrom the Analog Output signals of the Main Controller.· If the Main Controller fails or the transducer fails the ‘heartbeat” will beremoved allowing the Backup Controller to manage pumping. R5 will beenabled by the Backup Controller sending an input to DI3 on each VFD. Thisinput instructs the VFD’s to no longer use the Main Controller Analog Outand switch to a “preset speed” programmed in by the operator.· Pump Control Logic will be performed by the program within the BackupController.· When the failed condition in the Main Controller has been resolved theheartbeat signal returns.· The Backup Controller will then shutdown pump control and return tostandby mode.· The Main Controller will return to pump control management after a shorttime delay.· During normal operation the Main Controller is periodically polling theBackup Controller across the Ethernet Network checking process condition.· If the Main Controller does NOT get a successful response from the BackupController the Sensaphone Dialer Channel 6 will be activated during normalbusiness hours informing the plant.VFD 1 or VFD 2 HOA in "Hand" will signal Backp Controller to run in constantspeed 1 mode.
