Henan Dingli Pole&Tower Co., Ltd.is located in "Chinese Ancestor cultural village, China

Metallurgical cast-iron sword," and the Xiping County, Henan Province, is the largest

transmission line tower, Henan Province, substation steel frame, electrified railway catenary

pillars of professional production manufacturers, Henan Building Materials Industry Association.

The company's existing plant structures, concrete products plants, three hot-dip galvanizing

plant plant, covering 300,000 square meters, registered capital of 50 million yuan, annual output

value of 500 million yuan.

1.Brief Introduction

The company has 40 years of production history, with Wangjiagongcheng Transmission

Technology Research Center of Henan Province, earth power design companies and other

research institutions, many times assume the provincial, city major scientific and technological

projects.

Produced 220BSSZ-30 with four towers centrifugal thin-walled steel concrete pole back for

Henan Science and Technology Achievement Award in 2007; single tube continuous beam 220KV

power station in Henan Science and Technology Achievement Award obtained in 2009 ; station

steel frame of new technology applied to Shaanxi Weinan 750KV substation; communications

tower technology to study Hefei - Wuhan, Wuhan - Guangzhou Passenger Line GSM-R

communication system. Number of research provincial and municipal scientific and technological

progress awards, more than ten patents protected by the State.

The company is equipped with advanced CNC 3200 tons hydraulic bending machine, CNC

angle line, CNC intersection Cutting, CNC gantry drilling machine, CNC flange assembly and

welding production lines, CNC concrete stir bar stations, automatic submerged arc welding

machine, coil machines, shears, universal testing machine, salt spray test machine, impact testing

machine, five elemental analyzer, ultrasonic flaw detector, etc. more than four hundred pieces

(sets) of production, inspection and test equipment. Mature technology, advanced technology,

strong product development and innovation, manufacturing capacity. UHV main products are

steel towers, substation steel frame, single-column steel pole, steel centrifugal thin-walled

concrete poles, angle steel tower, communication tower, concrete poles, pillars and other

electrified railway catenary.

In 1999 the company took the lead through peer quality management system certification in

2007 through energy (Beijing) Certification Center PCCC certification, the company in 2008 was

named "Henan Quality Management Business Excellence." "Full" brand was named "Henan

Province", the Henan provincial government awarded the "Henan Province Famous Brand" title,

year after year won Henan Province, "Quality Trustworthy Enterprise" and Henan Province, "the

3.Development Process

In 1996, Xiping Country Concrete Pole Making Factory was established.

In 1998,transformed into-joint-stock enterprises with modernization management.

In 2002,it was change registered as Xiping County Xiping Electric Pole.,LTD.

In 2003,it was change registered as Henan Dingli Steel Pole CO.,LTD.with the

registered capital of 17.06 million RMB,extending the production line from concrete

poles to tranmission line tower series.

In 2004,substation structure produced by us exported to Zambia,we began to expand

the global market.

In 2008,it was change registered as “Henan Dingli Pole&Tower CO.,LTD.”,the

registered capital increased to 50 million RMB.

In 2010,the products enter into the America market,completion timely the production

and supply mission of 2700 tons of steel tubular pole for Trinidad and Tobago.

In 2011,passed the strict authentication of the China Sate Grid Corporation and

become one of the fifteen among first batch 1000kV UHV steel tubular tower

manufacturer.

In 2014,become qualified supplier of China Electric Power Equipment and

technology CO.,LTD,besides,more than 1500 ton substation steel structure was

supplied for 500 GDHA engineering project in Ethiopia.

2 Quality Guarantee Measures

Quality Guarantee Measures of Lattice Steel Tower

strict quality assurance system to ensure the quality of the products, specific measures are as

follows

1. Quality Guarantee Measures of Working Drawing Setting

out :

We owned a provincial transmission and transformation network engineering technology

research center with all kinds of expertise in architecture, machinery, electricity, technology,

welding, materials, and other professional fields. For companies drawn to this project design,

process design, frame design, complemented by appropriate review, audit, drawings and other

technical personnel in order to ensure the quality of processing maps. Professional lofting

software TMA is using for lattice steel tower setting out to ensure accuracy of setting out.

2. Quality Guarantee Measures of Raw Materials:

The raw materials we use for bidding and procurement: Angle steel, steel plates, fasteners,

welding material is preferred from the State Grid Corporation approved qualified suppliers in

procurement and recheck all the raw materials into the factory, ensure qualified before use.

3. Quality Guarantee Measures of Processing:

4. Quality Guarantee Measures of Welding

Welding must be carried out according to shop drawings and design requirements and comply

with related regulations like GB50205-2001 construction and inspection standard of steel

structure and JGJ81-2002 technical standard of construction steel structure. Welding materials:

welding rod, welding wire, welding compound grades and specification should be classified and

pile up in dry storage room. Wire removal of rust, grease and other dirt: it is prohibited to use

medicine to peel off, weld cores rusty electrode welding machines and lumped. The CO2 gas for

materials purchased from qualified supplier, requirements like specification.quantity.quality

For the last two methods, supply department serving in procurement documents should provide

for verification of product release.

4.6.2 verification activities include inspection, measurement, observation, process validation,

providing certificates and other means. In the corresponding test procedures should be provided

for in their authentication method.

4.6.3 purchasing goods, supply Department buyers fill out the notice of inspection with the

procurement list, the quality certificate sent quality inspection center, and quality testing center

carried out according the product realization planning of the review, issued by the review report.

5.3 Hang material

5.3.2 Sort component according to the type.length.materials and surface

condition while hanging.

5.4 Pickling

5.4.1 Hydrochloric acid aqueous solution is used for pickling, hydrochloric

concentration is 40~160 g/l, room temperature as working tempreture.

5.4.2 Compound of pickling liquor

32% industrial concentration hydrochloric acid, 1:1 mixed with water to

produce hydrochloric acid content of 160 g/l concentration of acid pickling

solution. Preparation before adding water and then adding acid, add tube

immersed in the water of hydrochloric acid, and acid fog inhibitor (otherwise

stated) During the pickling liquid in use generally do not add acid until the

reduced content of 40~45 hydrochloride g/l of solution concentration and

solution of ferrous chloride (FeCL2) content of up to 200 g/l, pumping of

waste acid storage tank, and processing.

5.4.3 Acid pickling solution testing once for each class,result posted on the

signs to guide the pickling operation treatment.

5.4.4 Pickling time is made according to the plating surface oxide layer and

acid concentration. Pickling operation to speed up the reaction speed,move

from top to bottom plating in acid pickling process must be two to three times,

and then pull above fluid level to check quality of pickling

5.5 Rinsing

Qualified rinse galvanized components must be rinsed in the double

rinsing craft tank through flowing water to erase the surface remaining

pickling liquid and other debris, and then immediately into the plating bath by

flux process.

5.6 Fluxing

5.6.1 Plating agents are ammonium chloride (NH4CL) solution, the working

temperature is 60~80℃, proportion is the solution: 1.03~1.05g/cm3 (room

temperature measurement). Plating agents used in the process should be

supplemented and adjusted in proportion within the limits prescribed.

Assistant pools keep the water level of the low water line and between the

highest water level.

5.6.2 Flux test for twice each batch, its iron content in solution at 10

grams/liter. PH=3~5, quality control. Assistant quality control in the

regeneration cycle, flux heating by heater.

5.6.3 Full immersion plating after rinsing solvent treatment in plating solution,

soak time of 3-5 minutes.

5.6.4 Work piece treat after flux,, chemical treatment and quality inspection is

needed.. Local paint or for any other reason fails to acid clean surface

grinding wheels, wire brushes, scrapers and other tools for processing,

repeat the pickling process operation, rack zinc plating after chemical

qualifying.

5.7 Second-hanging Before Galvanizing

5.7.1 If pickling qualified, the work piece which well handled after plating auxiliary should

go on to proceed second-hanging before galvanizing.

5.7.2 Pay attention to the position of hole and characteristics of work piece while

second-hanging and select the applicable hanging point and right direction of zinc flow in

case of any quality problem such as unfavorable air-out, smooth zinc flow and zinc

heaping etc. Second-hanging should reach hot-dip galvanizing requirement.

5.8 Preheating & Drying

After second-hanging procedure, stay in drying tank and make sure the work piece

dry enough and then go on to do hot-dip galvanizing.

5.9 Hot-dip Galvanizing

5.9.1 Zinc Bath

5.9.1.1 Zinc bath is mainly composed of molten zinc. The chemical ingredients of zinc

ingot have to reach GB470 standard. Add proper aluminum alloy in zinc melt which

should net exceed 50g/ton(zinc).

5.9.1.2 Galvanizing work should be started as long as the zinc melt temperature up to

455℃-460℃. Meanwhile, the temperature should stay between 420℃~ 430℃ if

production paused.

5.9.1.3 Fill the zinc everyday while off work to make sure lower the pressure of zinc

melting pot and stay 10-30cm distance between zinc melt and edge of zinc melting pot.

During special producing situation in large use of zinc should fill at anytime.

5.9.1.4 Thickness of the residues in zinc melting pot cannot over 8cm to lower the

possibility of zinc pot corrosion. To do at least twice totally salvaging zinc residue work

each week, the salvager should salve evenly from one side of the pot to another side

and each time should repeat one third of the site where have been salved already. If

miss any work-piece into the zinc pot, salve immediately to avoid corrosion and produce

much more zinc residue.

5.9.2 Hot-dip Galvanizing Work

5.9.2.1 Clean up the zinc melt oxide layer before work-piece into the tank. Put the work

piece slowly into the zinc tank in any case of splashing. Stay 25-35 degree of tilt angle

while the long work piece immersed horizontally.

5.9.2.2 The entrancing time, galvanizing time and outing time is different according to

work piece type, material and standard.

5.9.2.3 Clean up the zinc melt oxide layers and plating auxiliary residues before the work

piece come out the zinc melting pot, and then take out the work piece out of zinc melt

very slowly, let the extra zinc melt flowing into the pot naturally and shake the work piece

by tools to clear away the additional zinc to make sure the appearance quality of work

piece.

5.10 Water Cooling

Work piece after galvanized should be putted into cooling tank to cool down the

temperature, cannot stay long time in zinc pot.

5.11 Passivation

5.11.1 Passivation Solution

Ingredient of Passivation: 0.5% sodium achromatic (potassium achromatic), 0.1%

sulfuric acid solution. Take analysis every week, taking notes and sign board.

5.11.2 According to the technical specifications, Passivation treatment should be start

after cooling down the water if needs necessary passivation.

5.12 Unload and Inspect

5.12.1 Galvanized part should be putted onto the supporting frame by hanging bracket

while unloading, no supporting frame unload method was strictly prohibited.

5.12.2 QC should inspect from exterior after the galvanized part unloaded and repair it

promptly if anywhere has unhallowed flaws.

6.Specifications

6.1 The quality grade of zinc ingot should not lower than GB/T470 table no.ZN99.95。

6.2 New acidic fluid concentration should reach 18-25% and the acid pool should be

changed when the concentration decrease to 4% as well as the iron content became

120g/L which affect the production schedule. The old pool should be clean up once

changed.

6.3 Cooling water temperature have to keep below 80℃ with clean water and stable flow,

PH=6~8。

6.4 Adopted galvanizing temperature and time on different component、material and

thickness range see table 1.

7.Quality Requirement

7.1 Quality Requirement on Pickling

7.1.1 No residual oxide layer and other adhesion on material surface.

7.1.2 Outside of material surface should be off-white and bright.

7.1.3 No pickling appearance appeared on surface.

7.2 Quality Requirement on Zinc Coating

7.2.1 Appearance: Keep the zinc layer surface completing and smoothing while working,

no flaws appeared like pickling、skipping plate、dross、zinc deposition、sharp point or

other else which is harmful while working.

7.2.2 Adhesion: No peeling and embossing appeared on zinc coating after hammering

test.。

7.2.3 Uniformity:No iron part appeared after four times copper sulfate erosion on zinc

plating work-piece.

7.3 Thickness of zinc layer and zinc coating adhesion have to meet the standard of table

3.

7.4 Correcting work would be used if material transformed while galvanizing, which

should be right operated according to the correcting work instructions.
