Those who LOVELOVE God and those who HATEHATE God –PLEASEPLEASE NOTENOTE - - Both Cain and Abel were BORN SINNERSBORN SINNERS, for Eve’s womb, which makes them children of wrath – (Eph. 2:1-2)Both Cain and Able needed to be SAVEDSAVED, but only ONEONE seen his need.

GENESIS GENESIS

It’s sad, but Cain DENIED his need for salvation and will suffer Divine consequences – (Rev. 20:11-15)

Able placed his FAITH is a sacrificial substitute,

pointing to Jesus Christ’s future sacrifice on the

Cross, and he was accounted righteousness before God. Able knelt on the ground,

received God’s grace, CONFESSED his sin and

received forgiveness.

Gen 4:6-7 So the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And

why has your countenance fallen?7 "If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should

rule over it."

Verse seven tell us that Cain REFUSEDREFUSED to comply with God’s divine threat. Cain made his choice just like people today, they refuse Jesus Christ, and will suffer the divine consequences for sin (Rom. 6:23)

Page 15: GENESIS

GENESIS

When Cain gave into sin, he was giving into Satan. He let SINSIN and SATANSATAN take

Him down the BROAD ROAD TO BROAD ROAD TO DISTRUCTIONDISTRUCTION

(Matt. 7:13-14)"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the

gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.14 "Because narrow is the gate

and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Sin can DEFILE our walk with God, and we need God’s BAR OF SOAP to keep us clean.

1 John 9:9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just

to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Genesis 4:8Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to

GENESIS

According to Biblical students, they say, “That Cain did not like the thought of losing the place of privilege

of the FIRST BORN. When he refused to bring the right offering (v. 7) he knew that Abel would RULE

over him, and this was unacceptable to him. The only way out was to KILL him, and that’ what he did.

Murder is the unlawful premeditated KILLINGKILLING of one person by another.

Page 21: GENESIS

Cain went to the field and express how DISAPPOINTEDDISAPPOINTED

he was over the sacrificethat God did not accept.

Page 22: GENESIS

Cain waited until Abel was in the field, he said,” I’ll kill him there so nobody will SEESEE me.”

Heb. 4:13And there is no creature hidden from His sight,

but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
