The Telematics Port System E-port

E-port stands for Genova Port Community System

E-port, owned by Genova Port Authority, has been founded in 2005 with the design contribution of the Port Operator Associations and Public Authority involved in the Port process.

Its main objective

The realization of a Telematics platform that is the fundamental element for the inclusion of the call in the Logistics system

The optimization of documentary interchange (dematerialisation) and the consequent fluidity of traffic traceability

The realization of a virtual interface between Port and Systems of the entire Logistics Chain.

More than 20 Km of extension Around 4.000 means of transport in and out per day

More than 300 Freight Forwarders More than 80 Maritime Agencies Around 6.000 Truckers In 2013 have been handled around 2 millions of Teu and around 50.000.000 tons of various goods

In 2013 E-port negotiated around 10.000.000 documents The Call Center handled around 90.000 requests with the 80% fixed within 5 minutes from the call.
