Guidelines for Today

We will go through the sports, highlighting the teams, in

the order that they happened throughout the year. We will

finish with major athletic awards, such as “Sports

Dedication” and “Athlete of the Year.”

If coaches are here we would ask you to come up to the

stage just before your team is called.

Everyone should hold the applause for the award winners

until I have announced the names for that award.

Athletes, if your name is called, please come up to the

front to receive your award. If you want, pictures can then

be taken in front of the GSMS board by families as we

continue with further awards.


Descriptions of the Awards

Love of the Game:

They are a hard-working, dedicated athlete. They

demonstrate being a positive role model for the

sport and a strong team spirit.

Most Valuable Player (MVP):

They demonstrated positive characteristics that

helped lead the team. They excelled at the sport and

were looked to when it was really needed.
