What is Georgia Gateway?

The system will:

Provide a one stop shop for consumers to apply for and manage their benefits for WIC, Medical Assistance, SNAP, TANF, LIHEAP and Child Care

Centralize client information and verifications

Provide standardized business rules for financial eligibility determination

Reduce potential fraud, waste, and abuse by offering unique IDs and EMPI

Provide single statewide system for more streamlined case transfers across health districts

Improve reporting capabilities to reduce time spent manually gathering and tracking information

The new integrated eligibility system (IES) will enhance or completely replace systems and processes across 6 benefit programs
