This year is obviously a lot different when it comes to conference activities, but we have come up with an assortment of virtual games and competitions to keep you entertained. The virtual games are all designed to be played through an online platform (Zoom or TEAMS) and include family friendly as well as competitive op-tions. The competitions are designed to be done independently at any time throughout the conference and all submissions are due by Tuesday night at mid-night. And the good news, everybody can tune in even if you’re not playing. Also, in addition to bragging rights every activity has prizes including Amazon gift cards, free registrations and our fabulous Summer Seminar trophies! See details below.
Virtual Games
The Trivia Tournament (Sunday, 8pm) is being hosted by Shannon Fain, Shashank Boddupalli and Holly Painter. Each person will be competing against everybody else and make sure to join Zoom on time so you can hear instructions on how to play.
Pictionary (Monday, 8pm) is being hosted by Whitney Nottage. Teams of four will compete with one team winning. The host will send clues privately through Zoom and drawings can be done using the built in whiteboard function in Zoom.
Charades (Monday, 8pm) is being hosted by Nate Prath. Teams of four will com-pete with one team winning. The host will send clues privately through Zoom and the actor can use a prop, dance, or perform the clue while everybody is watching.
Bingo (Monday, 8pm) is being hosted by Chris Maddox. Up to 30 people can play using an online platform and TEAMS to communicate. Three rounds will be played and prizes will be given to the first, second and third Bingo in each round.
Hearts (Monday, 8pm) is being hosted by Patrick McAtee. Groups of four will com-pete using an online platform and TEAMS to communicate. The winner of each group will get a prize.
Spades (Tuesday, 8pm) is being hosted by Sage Roberts. Groups of four will com-pete using an online platform and TEAMS to communicate. The winner of each group will get a prize.
Texas Hold ‘Em (Tuesday, 8pm) is being hosted by Patrick McAtee. Groups of six will compete using an online platform and Zoom to communicate. The winner of each group will compete against each other in the final round.
Psych! (Tuesday, 8pm) is being hosted by Shannon Fain. This popular app created by Ellen Degeneres is a fun party game to play with friends. Each player makes up fake answers to real trivia questions. Can you guess the right answer?
The Virtual Escape Room (Tuesday, 8pm) is being hosted by Chris Puglisi. Teams of four will compete using online platform and TEAMS to communicate. Teams that finish with the best times win.
