German Culture and History from the Third Reich to Reunification This course is designed to help you acquire cultural competency and the ability to draw connections between the target language/culture and your own culture and language. The class is divided in 2 distinct units. Each will expose you to a unique period in German history that covers culturally and historically relevant aspects:

• National Socialism and the Holocaust • East-West Conflict, the Cold War, and German Re-Unification
