Horse Drawn Sleigh RidesEnnismore Community Centre
Saturday, February 3 1 pm - 4 pm
Sleigh Rides in Canada originated as a form of transportation in farming communi-ties throughout the country. Dog Sledding in Canada had been around for centuries before Europeans arrived and set up communities. Horse-drawn plows tilled the soil during the growing season. During the winter; however, transportation became difficult and sleighs were fabricated. Experience a little of Canada’s history and enjoy a Sleigh Ride at the Ennismore Community Centre. The rides will take place on Saturday, February 3 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Marc Campbell of Ennismore will have his team of horses on site and invites everyone to take a jaunt around the community centre property.
Enjoy a cup of complimentary hot chocolate.Sleigh Rides are sponsored by the Ennismore Optimist Club
